My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Spend your days enjoying the beach and other close attractions before heading back to cozy up by the fire pit (wood not provided). There is another bookable vacation rental on-site -- other renters may be downstairs.

The basement offers a game room with pool table & shuffle board, TV/Media Room, and a 4th bedroom. This home is the perfect spot for a private getaway, but close enough to local attractions.

2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage that is located on Hoffman Lake Channel. The Channel House is great for fishing right out of the back door. Conveniently located a drive from Warsaw, IN and several smaller towns. Bring nothing to this fully furnished cottage except your clothes and plan for fun. On site drive way parking, laundry, garage with pool table, darts, & air hockey. Several activities inside and out. Fire pit, outdoor seating and lounge chairs. We live nearby & can assist your stay!

Relax and play on an all sport lake. Host offers to guests a variety of bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, linking water floats, onsite parking, fire pit, yard games and board games. Guests are welcome to bring their own water toys, jet skies, and boats. We have parking for one trailer. Guests to bring own tie down systems as there is no space on the pier. We have a private ramp or there is access to a public ramp. We encourage guests to research Bass Lake. Owners live in the main house.

Park you boat at our private pier or just enjoy observing the wildlife, sunsets, etc. Observe the grace of great blue herons, mama ducks with their ducklings, and you may catch a glimpse of a bald eagle!
