Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Basel City

I was attending an event at the St. Jakobshalle, which is easily walkable. The place is really well equipped and was just perfect for three nights. I bumped into Andreas and he was super friendly and helpful.

Great stay. Handy to transport. Spacious. Comfortable. Highly recommended. Lacking some info/directions in house - but Dona very responsive. ( In the meantime, FYI - Laundry in basement activated with card on cupboard in hall. - rubbish collected from front gate Tuesday morning )

Perfect location, perfect host and the most perfect apartment in Basel! ❤️ Joana was incredibly helpful during our stay for the ESC in Basel. She gave loads of excellent restaurant recommendations and gave us tips on how to get to her apartment from the airport. Communication worked incredibly well and there was no extra hassle with check-ins or -outs. The kitchen / shower arrangement worked well for us and the bedroom looks bigger in reality than in the photos. The building has its old-time charm and we loved it very much. I highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Basel and looking for a place next to good public transportation options. Thank you once again Joana, you are the most amazing host ❤️

We had a wonderful weekend in Basel and are very happy to have booked this room. Communication with the hosts was excellent from the beginning – both in writing in advance and in person when handing over the keys. Everything went smoothly and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean, beautiful and stylish, but pleasantly simple. We felt completely comfortable and would come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

Pleasant stay in this spacious, fully-equipped duplex studio located in a pleasant residential area, near the Rhine. The vast space available and the calm were particularly appreciated with the children. Thank you to Leonore and Bea for the welcome and responsiveness!

Very nice, cozy apartment at a ideal location - very quite yet with a direct connection to the Messe. You get everything you need in the house and can enjoy the shunshine or evening breeze on the balcony. It's a shame that we didn't meet Jinhee in person, but Tom was also such a nice and warm-hearted host! Always patient for every question and request. Many thanks!

Very comfortable accommodation, convenient for visiting the Fondation Beyeler and the Villa Wenkenhof, and a great base for sightseeing in Basel. Easy access to rural walks along the Wiese. The breakfast was excellent and generous. Highly recommended.

I felt very comfortable with Ewald and Melanie. The room is cozy, quiet and clean. The bed is great and I haven't slept so well in a long time. If you like to walk, the location is perfect. The forest with Vita Parcour and Finnenbahn is nearby and you can easily walk to Basel. The Trämmli is also very close. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful house beyond what pictures can describe with great designs and taste. Guylaine is SUPER helpful and communicative. I will definitely stay again when I’m in Basel!

Single night stay but I was able to appreciate the location of the house a few minutes walk from a tram stop. Quiet surroundings, in front of a huge public garden and very well connected to public transport to visit the city. The bedroom, the shared kitchen as well as the bathroom are very clean. Great apartment close to transit & a few good restaurants. The apartment was nice, clean, & comfortable. The bed was also quite comfortable. There was plenty of space for clothing from 2 large suitcases. Having an elevator & outside blackout blinds on all windows were great!

Thomas was so friendly, helpful and responsive. The apt was comfortable & charming. The balcony patio was lovely too. Very quiet neighborhood spot. Easy access to city center via amazing tram system.

The apartment was fantastic. Contrary to many other places I have been, it was heated from the start, so the arrival late in a cold night was very comfortable. The place is really good. I could work in a very spacious working space. The kitchen had everything. René was kind enough to allow me to use basic stuff, like oil and sugar, so I could cook without needing to buy everything. I had a couple of questions for René who replied to me straightaway in very precise and polite maners. The main space was looking the Rhine and it was fantastic to have breakfast or dinner there. The location is wonderful, with views over the Rhine and the other side of the river, with boats passing by, and enjoying Basel at its heart. I am very grateful to René and I am looking forward my next trip to Basel to ask him again to stay there.

Very cozy and stylish condo apartment. We felt right at home and it was a challenge to get out into Basel for sightseeing because it was so comfortable in the apartment. Amenities were provided and everything was prepared in great consideration. The host Jennifer was very responsive and has a high level of attention to detail. She prep everything so well that we did not have any post questions to ask while staying there. Highly recommended. Cheers

This was a lovely stay. The flat was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - obviously someones home as some very tasteful furniture and decoration with a large balcony with table and chairs. Communication was excellent. The tram stop was at the end of the road and just a short hop to the station and Old Town. Probably the best AirBnB we have stayed in.

This was our fifth visit to Basel. We have stayed in two other Airbnbs there that we loved and could not have imagined that anything would surpass them, but Fran and Martin’s place absolutely did. Their place is beautifully/thoughtfully updated while maintaining the historic charm. The kitchen was very well appointed, with plenty of dishes and glassware. It was such a luxury to have two bathrooms (and the upper shower is especially nice, with a window that opens onto the Basel skyline), and they even supplied robes, which was such a treat! And the rooftop terrace—just wow: a wonderful space for an evening glass of wine after a day of exploring. Great to have a washer/dryer. The flat was very quiet. The Migros was right across the street and very well stocked. It’s a 3-minute walk to catch the tram to the SBB. Martin was available either in person or by text the entire time and was so helpful and kind. We couldn’t have been happier (unless we had stayed longer!).
