Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Basel City

The house was very beautiful and cosy, a very nice surprise for me. Anette was very open and helpful and I was happy to discover things in common, she is also a coach and does shamanic work. It is an old house and this has also some challenges, such as being kinda cold in the winter, I had to use many blankets but also good points - the beauty of the house, the neighbourhood, which is calm and elegant. Great option for me and very accessible.

Very nice, cozy apartment at a ideal location - very quite yet with a direct connection to the Messe. You get everything you need in the house and can enjoy the shunshine or evening breeze on the balcony. It's a shame that we didn't meet Jinhee in person, but Tom was also such a nice and warm-hearted host! Always patient for every question and request. Many thanks!

Șederea la Iris a fost excelentă, cu tot confortul de care am avut nevoie. Bucătăria minunat organizată, foarte curată și cu toate electrocasnicele de care ai avea nevoie. Grădina din spate foarte frumos amenajată de către soțul lui Iris, oferă momente de relaxare, bucuria de a auzi cum cântă păsărelele și arome minunate de la florile din preajma. Transportul până în centrul orașului se face cu tramvaiul, care circulă la 7 minute în timpul săptămânii, și are un traseu rapid (în 10-15 minute ajungi unde ai nevoie). Basel card (pus la dispoziție de către Iris) a fost de mare ajutor pentru ca ne-a scutit de o cheltuiala suplimentara semnificativa. Ne-a facut mare plăcere să stăm la Iris și cu siguranță vom apela din nou la ospitalitatea ei, când vom reveni în acest oraș minunat.

Nice, peaceful space in a quiet neighborhood near great public transport. Super convenient to St Jakob center and BFC stadium. Grocery store about a block away. Patrizia was very responsive to any communication. Read the instructions she provides for entering, as your private entrance is through the back garden. Your GPS will take you to the front. The private shower room is excellent and the WC is upstairs.

Wir waren bezüglich der Artbasel dort und können uns bzgl. Der Unterkunft nicht beklagen! Arianna hat uns proaktiv die ganzen Infos zum Check in mitgeteilt und war generell sehr freundlich. Für die Ausstellung der Baselcard sind wir ihr auch sehr dankbar gewesen :) Die Bettdecke war für zwei Leute etwas zu kurz 😅 aber da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, war es nicht weiter schlimm. Können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen :)

We can’t thank Luzius and Johanna enough for accommodating us in their beautiful apartment. The location was key for exhibiting at Design Miami, everything around was at a walking distance - very convenient. The apartment itself is wonderful with tons of light, natural wood floors, beautiful details all the way through, old records with a record player, incredible selection of books to read. On top of it the neighbor upstairs is the kindest helping hand full of tips and recommendations. Hoping to return next year..thank you again!

We stayed at Natalia's place during the Eurovision Song Contest, the location of the apartment was great since it was very close to where most of the things were happening. The old town is on the other side of the river though, but its a nice walk and public transport is efficient. The cleanliness of the apartment was ok, there are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom a kitchen and a nice living area. There is a working TV, it is on the first floor with no elevator (only a couple of steps). Communication was a bit slow at the beginning but during our stay it was perfect and Natalia replied efficiently.

Tolle Unterkunft, in ruhiger Lage direkt am Rhein. Alles war wie beschrieben - sehr zu empfehlen!

We really enjoyed our stay at Will's place. The flat was very bright and spacious. Close to public transport, there are a lot of shops and restaurants around in walkable distance. Will is a great host, very kind and responsive. We would definitely stay again and we highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to have a great time in Basel.
