Refurbished to a high standard retaining many original features, with oak beams & open country views.

Historic York is an easy 40 mins drive and you can be in the heart of the Peak District within the hour. The hosts live in the main house on site so are available to answer any questions during your stay.

The cottage is a beautifully restored 1700s barn conversion, sympathetically restored with vaulted ceilings and open beams. All-year-round hot tub and direct private garden access. Whilst advertised for up to four people, we can accommodate more on request and also have a sister cottage on the same location. The cottage has full amenities, from WiFi through to a dishwasher, nespresso coffee machine and air fryer. We live on site and so are here in any way so we can to make your stay special!

The Tack Store is a new barn conversion on our small farm outside the village of Silkstone. Views are some of the best in South Yorkshire, overlooking rolling hills and woodland, it's a perfect escape for those who love peace, quiet & walking. Equally we are only 1.5m from the M1 for guests wanting a more varied experience. We are child and pet friendly. We have tried really hard to create a relaxing home away from home. A hot tub will be installed for bookings April 25 onwards.
