Liz and Colin's place was a perfect retreat after working at the NEC. Superbly comfortable and well equipped, beautifully decorated, lovely lighting, and garden to enjoy. Such a lovely welcome with some delicious homemade food and thoughtful touches. Definitely hope to stay again

We had a lovely stay in The Boat House, and will certainly return in the future. It is less than 15 minutes to the NEC, but feels a world away from the hustle and bustle! Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Hannah is an excellent host. Thank you.

Jo made finding the place super easy with detailed directions, and we were met in person for a handoff of the key. The property is beautiful, clean and quiet, and also well-equipped. Bonus points for the excellent water pressure in the shower! It’s on a working farm, so we had sheep, ducks, chickens and crows around us but no other people around, which is exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t have a car, but were able to walk to the pub in Barston and also the nearby golf course for dinner. We downloaded All Trails to make finding public paths easier. It’s also easy to get Uber to come out as the airport is close by. It’d be lovely to go back with a car to explore a bit more of the local area too!
