Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Barry

Perfectly placed to walk with my husband who uses a mobility scooter and has dementia. Flat easy access and met all our needs. Wonderful for me to walk our dog too. Can’t fault it really and it felt like staying in a friend’s home. Any questions were answered immediately. Thank you Lee.

Had a wonderful stay at Janine’s place very cosy and homely. Very clean with a nice comfy bed and a good welcome hamper. We were staying for a wedding at St Fagans so the location was ideal and the local taxis service was brilliant. Highly recommend Janine’s place to stay.

Great location with lovely views. We stayed for our wedding and Lucy was very accommodating with deliveries etc dropping things off in the morning. Lucy's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A great place!

Lovely home for our large family get together. When asked questions Elisha was very quick to respond and even recommended some lovely restaurants. We loved Penarth it’s such a lovely place to stay. We could stroll for about 20 minutes to the pier and various restaurants from the house. Also easy access into the city by train.

My sister and I stayed here with the kids, and chose it because it’s close to what we wanted to do. Rooms are a decent size and the views are lovely (even in the pouring rain!). Gareth is a good host and answered all of our questions promptly. And there is space for 2 cars right outside which was a bonus!

There were three of us staying and we had a great couple of days. Everything was perfect. A very quiet location but within walking distance to the station, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and bay. The house was well equipped with comfortable mattresses, good showers and everything was clean. Aaron was a good communicator and quick to respond to questions. Thank you Aaron.

This is the second time at one of Miles properties and again we were not disappointed. Fantastic place to stay, clean, great location, nicely decorated and Miles is a great host who is quick to respond to any queries or communications. Would highly recommend staying in one of his properties.

What I can find in the room is a beautiful bay view from the room, walkable to local shops and restaurants, plenty of parking spaces, good kitchen enough for simple cooking. This room is good for couple to stay.

Christine’s place is lovely. It is really well laid out and super comfortable. Whitchurch village has everything you need and great food and drink venues. We appreciated Christine’s quick responses and helpfulness. Would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Perfect spot for me travelling solo for a quick stay. Very easy to find, everything I needed, close enough to centre of town to meet friends, Rhys was great and very responsive.

This is a lovely, spacious and spotless place to stay. Lyn thoughtfully leaves fresh milk, bread and Welsh cakes in the very well equipped kitchen. There is a very nice, quiet walled garden to enjoy sitting out in. A permanent tenant lives upstairs in the apartment upstairs. I intend to stay in Llantwit regularly, year round, and this is a comfortable place to come back to if the weather isn’t great, and the heating is very efficient yet unobtrusive. Will return.

We had a wonderful stay at Donna’s flat. The self-check-in process was incredibly easy, which made our arrival stress-free. The apartment was clean and cosy, providing a perfect home away from home. It came fully equipped with everything I needed, including cutlery, dish soap, towels, and even a washing machine and tumble dryer. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-stocked the place was; I truly felt like I didn't need to buy a thing during my stay. Additionally, I appreciated having my own parking space right outside the shop/flat, which made things even more convenient. The location is also fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. I will definitely be coming back for another stay! Highly recommended!

This was a tasteful room set in a private garden. Parking is free and so easy. It had everything we needed for a restful night, with kitchen, dining table, fridge, hot shower, hairdryer, TV and great guide books on Wales.

Lovely apartment close to the centre of Cardiff. The free parking was great and we enjoyed walking through Bute Park into the centre of town. Jolanta’s place was clean and quiet. Beds were comfy and the banner and balloons were much appreciated as our daughter was celebrating her birthday during our stay. I would definitely book again when returning to Cardiff. Just gutted we weren’t staying for longer. The stairs up to the apartment may be a problem if you have mobility issues.

Very cosy apartment in a great part of the city. Comfortable with all of the amenities needed for a short break. Louisa was a great host and communicated everything we needed to know.

The flat was lovely inside. Jane was a great host, very quick to reply to messages and provided very clear instructions. The flat had all the bits you needed in it &Jane provided milk and some lovely bits for our stay!

This was a lovely home and Becks was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was clean, comfortable and everything had been well thought through. She even provided bread, milk, jam etc which was most welcome! There is free parking - def a bonus - and the bus stop into town was a 2 minute walk away. Thank you so much - I definitely hope to come back!

Being born and bred in Cardiff, I have returned many times and stayed at many and varied different places in Cardiff. This apartment has far surpassed them all. Stopped a few days at Mel's gorgeous place. the views are perfect. lovely and quiet. The whole place was spotless. lots of room. everything you'll ever need. Mel was very helpful. lots of little extras, that make stopping here perfect. will definitely be stopping again when in Wales. Marc & Steph.
