The Old Sunday School Cottage & hot tub

JoanneRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We arrived at the Old Sunday School for 4 nights and the cottage was exactly as described to us by the host Peter. The cottage was very cosy in a little village with everything you need for a lovely peaceful few days with all amenities within walking distance including the Meadowside Cafe which we visited on the Saturday for the Brindian which was absolutely amazing and would highly recommend if visiting Dent as the owners, Adrian (chef) and his wife were amazing hosts. We also made use of the hot tub at the cottage which is a nice lovely added bonus which was even better with the gorgeous weather we had during our stay. We would highly recommend this cottage and would most definitely return in the future so if you are looking for a peaceful place with fantastic views visit Dent.

We had a fantastic stay at Sonia's place, the cottage was beautiful and was perfect for our family to stay over New Year. There was lots to do in the area and the cottage was in a great location. The hot tub was a fab addition in the frosty weather! Communication with Sonia was good and quick. Thank you! 😊

Myself, my husband, our two boys & dog absolutely loved our short stay! It was exactly as described. Richard was very helpful and nearby if we needed anything. Very peaceful location but not too far from the things you need. Lots to do nearby but also plenty to do at the location with the hot tub / BBQ / fire pit. It was just the break we needed! Thank you!

Hingabarn, a unique place in a unique location

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Paul and Barbara were superb hosts. Hingabarn was absolutely idyllic and was just what we needed to wind down and relax. Everything was spotless and of the highest quality and we simply did not want to leave. Sitting out listening to the birds and the running stream at the bottom of the private garden got us right back to nature and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We are already planning our next stay!

The Old Masham Library - Grade 2 listed

SimonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The property is amazing. Comfortable, well fitted out with everything you’d need. Very handy for the centre of Masham and within easy walking distance to Theakstons and Black Sheep breweries. We arrived Thursday evening for a long weekend. Friday morning was a little noisy and there was a lot of bustle from early - the building is on a busy bend in the main road and next to the butchers. Saturday and Sunday mornings were quieter. Great place for a weekend getaway. Definitely consider going back.

Garden Cottage - rural idyll with own paddock

RaphaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We’ve had a truly wonderful stay at Janet’s beautiful farmhouse. My wife, our dog and I felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Janet has been an absolutely lovely host – always kind, thoughtful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. She gave us excellent recommendations for local attractions and made herself available in case of any emergencies, which we deeply appreciated. The house itself is spotless – everything was impeccably clean, including the furniture and the bedding. The bed linen smelled fresh, and the duvet was of exceptional quality, making our nights very comfortable. The interior is modern and beautifully designed, offering a perfect balance between style and comfort. The bathroom had strong water pressure and lovely hot water, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which made our stay even more convenient. We are leaving today with hearts full of gratitude. Thank you, Janet, for making our holiday so special. We would not hesitate to return

Wonderful Ribble View Mews

GermaineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a very enjoyable stay and at Lorraine's recommendation spent time discovering Whalley. Very convenient for walks and the Co-op in Whalley was handy for food shopping. Plenty to do in the day and evenings. If no one wants to drive a convenient bus service too takes you in to Whalley. It was nice to have a house which had such a beautiful view from the garden.

Hazel's place was gorgeous: spacious and felt very homely, with lots of nice details. It was nice to be able to sit outside in the sun, easy to park (though the turn into the drive is narrow so beware). Small Spar shop across the road. Communication was clear. Great location, recommended.

Beautiful location in Malhamdale village.

HarshalRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Jane’s charming cottage in the picturesque village of Airton, near Malham. Surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire landscapes, the cottage is well maintained, full of vintage charm, and has all the essentials. Jane warmly welcomed us right at the door, which was a great start. Traveling with our parents and 9-year-old son, we loved the surprise chest of board games and the library of books; a real treat for the whole family! The location was perfect for our planned Yorkshire Three Peaks hike, with the base camp close by. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return! Highly recommended!

Eider cottage with private hot-tub & spa options

JuliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely cosy cottage, spread over 3 floors, so close to the town centre. The cottage was tucked away on a bank accessed only by a few cars, so it was very quiet. The hot tub was easily accessible from the kitchen on the ground floor & a hedge ensured it was private & not overlooked. The welcome pack was super, very thoughtful & there were even treats for the dogs!! Many thanks, we had a lovely break 😊
The lounge area is furnished with two leather sofas and a wooden coffee table, which holds a vase of flowers. A fireplace with a stone surround is visible, flanked by large windows dressed with curtains. Exposed wooden beams enhance the room's character.

Lower Gill Farmhouse

MistyRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Visited Lower Gill Farmhouse as part of my mum's 70th Birthday celebrations. 12 of us ranging in age from 5 to 75! All rooms were a great size, was excellent having 3 en-suite rooms along with a very large main bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The Kitchen was lovely, everything we needed and more - might have been nice to have tea/coffee and a little milk left for when we arrived after a long drive but luckily our tesco delivery arrived early so this wasn't too much of a problem. The living room had 3 good size sofas so we could all relax in front of the log burner. We made full use of the pool, games room, football pitch and tennis courts - a great addition especially for the kids and 4 hours allocation each day was perfect. Our dogs had a ball too - lots of places for them to run and play. Even in January we managed to spend lots of time outside and the little stream at the back of the cottaqe was wonderful. Great response from our host too, even though she was on holiday herself.
The stone exterior of the property is visible, highlighting its rustic charm. Windows are positioned symmetrically on the facade, allowing natural light to enter. The surrounding landscape includes a grassy area and trees, providing a sense of tranquility. A gravel pathway leads to the entrance.

Swallows

YousafRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Highly recommend a 2 night stay here. There is so was much to do and it was so enjoyable - we had a group of 10 people ranging from 30 to 1 year old and we all had so much fun! From swimming all day to playing on the football pitch and tennis court - it was truly never ending fun especially for the kids. The cottage was lovely, very nice and clean and everything needed was already there. It is abit far from local shops so definitely something to keep in mind but other than that it was a great stay. Host is very helpful!
An illuminated heated outdoor swimming pool glows in turquoise under the evening sky. The pool, surrounded by a hedge, features a gentle slope into the water and a float, adding a touch of relaxation to the tranquil setting.
