Our home is located on a beautiful 2.5 acre wooded setting with a small pond. We have hiking trails around the woods and a beautiful lawn to sit outside and enjoy. Our location can't be beat! Highway 131 is only two miles away. We are 20 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, 20 minutes from Gun Lake Casino, 20 minutes to the airport, 35-40 minutes from Lake Michigan, and 25 minutes away from Yankee Springs Recreation area. The entire lower level is set up as a private space for you to enjoy.

Welcome! This charming little house is a repurposed chicken coop on the farm. Enjoy the quiet, country life with all the comforts from home. The Coop is located between the main house and the large barn on a small hobby farm. This is a working farm with large and small animals, however, there are no hens in the guest house! During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great!

Quiet, country setting that comfortably accommodates two. This space is above our garage, which is not attached to our house. We are often outside working or playing, but it is very private once you are upstairs! There is no WiFi here. There is a lovely, private balcony with a nice view, lots of random movies, and several fun games. Verizon service works great here, so if you have a Hotspot you could hook up to our smart TV.

Our stay at Silo Gardens was even better than we anticipated. The goats, the peacocks, the gardens, and the host, Pat, were all wonderful. The bed and the sofas were comfortable and the shower is great. It was too cold for us to swim but we enjoyed sitting poolside. It was awesome to relax in the lovely country setting and yet we had an excellent breakfast experience at the Riverwalk Cafe only a few miles away. Pat is an exceptional host, willing and eager to give you a tour so guests can interact with and learn about the animals, but also respects your space. We’d love to go back. Next time we swim and make soap!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The deck was our favorite spot—we spent so much time relaxing outside and enjoying the peaceful views of the lake. It was a great getaway. There was a minor situation during our stay, but the host was incredibly responsive and helpful in resolving it quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience, and would recommend staying here!

Such a lovely location. Absolutely beautiful. The chickens and goats were adorable. The fresh eggs, coffee, and miscellaneous treats were delicious. The hosts are great and that gorgeous river right outside is unbeatable!! I wish we had stayed for longer!

The property is a private apartment in the basement of the main house. Beautiful 9 foot ceilings and appears to have been completely remodeled in the last year or two with high-end furnishings and decor. Very quiet waterfront properties surrounded by very nice homes. Everything you could want and more.

A bonus shed features a large ping pong table at its center, surrounded by wooden shelves that hold various outdoor games. Sunlight streams in through a window, illuminating the rustic wooden walls and ceiling of the space.

The Cove Near Gun Lake W/ Hot Tub and Fire Pit

Our stay at the cottage was eventful as we had tornadoes close by on the Thursday night of our weeklong stay. We lost power and I texted with Justin with immediate response. He continued to text me to provide updates and we worked together to make our continued stay as safe and comfortable through the lengthy outage. The cottage was clean, very well maintained and stocked of kitchen tools and household items. We had everything we needed to help prepare food for our nephew’s grad party. We will definitely recommend this to any family staying at Gun Lake. It’s a great cottage. Try Russo’s for dinner when you stay. The food is delicious AND they have gluten free options!
