The Historic Garden Cottage

An historic free-standing building on our 12 acre property "Claremont" (c.1857), the Garden Cottage has been fully renovated to offer a unique place to stay in beautiful, peaceful and historic surroundings. The accommodation is totally private, with a queen bed, en suite bathroom and basic food preparation facilities (fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle). It has a split system for heating and cooling. The Garden Cottage is approx. 3.4 km to the heart of Castlemaine township, and is only a short walk to the lovely Botanical Gardens.

The space: recently renovated, living room & fireplace, gas stove kitchen (no oven) with all you need to consume delicious local produce, lofted bedroom & beautiful bathroom. The Nissen

The Nissen is a spacious, light filled two bedroom holiday house overlooking the historic town of Castlemaine, aptly named for its resemblance to a World War II Nissen Hut. Our area is home to an abundance of nature, from kangaroos to echidnas to wombats.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Fantastic 3 bedroom home with awesome views of Mount Alexander and surrounds. Plenty of room with a large living room, wood fire, tv / entertainment system, kitchen, deck including entertaining area and bbq downstairs. Upstairs there is another lounge / study, bedroom and toilet. The barn is another entertainment area with a pool table, table tennis, darts, library and a large screen tv all heated and air conditioned.

This self-contained studio on Dja Dja Wurrung Country is tucked below our house. It's a totally separate and private space, air conditioned, double glazed and with its own off-street parking and access. It is within walking distance to the town centre, The Mill Complex, The Bridge Hotel and the Botanic Gardens; and just a 7 min walk up the hill from the railway station. Enjoy fabulous views to the east from the lounge, bedroom and your private balcony across the town to Leanganook.

A walking track is at the door for a lovely walk to Wesley hill Saturday market or continue on to explore nearby Castlemaine with it's wonderful Architecture and vibrant café and arts culture. STONE EDGE is a beautiful & tranquil property set in a lovely garden located in a prime position close to the Botanical Gardens, "The Mill" & Castlemaine Town. The property consists of a main cottage & two beautiful sandstone cottages "North" & "South". These two can be let out separately or together. Both cottages have super comfy king size beds & each is unique in character.
