The Cove Retreat Oceanfront Upstairs Apartment

This unique property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve live onsite with their little dog Charlie. The upstairs one bedroom apartment has stunnning views with ensuite and spa. Pets are very welcome but we ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates and provide pet friendly ideas. All our relaxing outside areas including the firepit overlook the ocean.

My place is close to the city, Bargara beaches, Rum Distillery, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, the River Feast Markets, Mon Rops turtle rookery and the best seafood restaurant on the river, where you can dine in or take away and take a cruise to the Port. You’ll love my place because of the location, so close to everything and no noisy traffic, it is very quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. You really do need a car to get around. We do have Uber and Cabs.

Private and spacious room offers a queen bed, kitchenette and sofa with an accessible bathroom. Outside the patio overlooks bush land and Burnett River with seating and bbq. 10 minutes to shopping centre and restaurants, 15 minutes to Bundaberg CBD. Please note there is NO Wi-Fi, but we have Telstra and Optus reception and you can hotspot to the TV for streaming services. We do not allow dogs onsite, this is for their own safety as our property is not fully fenced.

Spacious, light and modern accommodation, quiet rural location only 10 minutes from Bundaberg. 20 minutes from the beach. The Ground Floor is self contained with own kitchen, main bedroom with double bed, large sitting room with two single beds, TV with access to Netflix, wifi, books and board games. Harry and Philippa live on site, along with two dogs, two cats, one horse Jubilee, 5 sheep, chickens and a flock of guinea fowl that come and go.

The studio is a homely self contained space with perfect proximity to the beach. It is a flat walk 7 houses to Archie’s Beach. Please note the bathroom pictures that there is a step up into the shower. A hand rail has been installed on the wall for your assistance. Even though the studio is under the same roof as our house you have your own private entrance. We have 3 security cameras with sensor lights at the property.
