Great place to stay. Friendly and responsive hosts. Great family home. Easy to live in with a large family group. Loved the sea view each morning. Also the basket of goodies left as it was Easter.

I went up for the Bargara triathlon. This house was perfect- very clean, spacious, well set up for cooking, close to Bargara, secure yard for the dog and friendly, responsive and understanding hosts. A great place to stay. Thanks Priscilla & Leo!

A great little beach shack right across from the water, everything you need to enjoy the tranquillity of Woodgate. The deck is the perfect spot to relax with the sea breeze. Tammy is a good host, very friendly and down to earth. If you need to break the routines and relax I recommend this place.

Matt’s place was incredibly cosy and conveniently located close to everything we needed. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like home. The house was beautifully decorated, featuring three spacious air-conditioned bedrooms and a smaller room with a fan. Matt and Tanya were both professional and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even better. We all really enjoyed our short stay, just wish we had booked for a few more days, but unfortunately, my sons had to return to work. A big bonus: it’s pet-friendly, with a large, fully fenced backyard - perfect for our furry friends. We truly hope to return someday. Thank you both again! Kind regards, Johnny, Marie & family

Friendly responsive communication and easy check in complete with local recommendations. Beautiful, relaxing space and backyard - the pool was amazing after a long drive! Clean and tidy. Safe and friendly neighbourhood for walking the dog, foodworks within walking distance. Perfect stay for the 2 of us and our dog. Thanks Deb for a great stay!

Kids absolutely loved seeing all the animals and there was so many toys around for them! While we were out seeing family they were begging to go back just to keep playing instead haha

I had such a great stay at Shaaron’s place! It was super cute and beautifully styled, with some lovely Easter touches that made it feel really welcoming. The location was awesome—just a quick walk to the beach. Shaaron was easy to communicate with and made everything smooth from start to finish. I’d definitely come back and totally recommend it to anyone heading that way.

A quaint cottage style with a full kitchen and nice lounge area. Shower and toilet are out side the front door but private and easily accessible.

"We are having a wonderful long stay at May Street from January to May, and we couldn't be happier with the exceptional hospitality provided by Michele and Greg, who promptly address any issues. The location is perfect, just minutes away from shopping centres and the beautiful Bargara beach, making it very convenient for us. The house itself is a beautifully maintained lowset Queenslander with a lovely pool, which is a great relief from the Bundaberg heat, and we're especially grateful that our two elderly dogs are welcomed. Our stay here has been nothing short of delightful, and the five-star rating is well-deserved."

We enjoyed our stay here. We loved the location, so close to the beach and only a 5 minute drive to Theodolite Creek. It was a peaceful location; we loved seeing the kangaroos and kookaburras. The house was spacious and very clean. Well stocked kitchen was great and we loved that we could have our dog stay with us. Tammy was friendly and helpful and promptly replied to my messages. The only negative was that there are no window coverings on the bedroom windows or upstairs toilet. This was ok during the day as they are tinted, but at night when you need to have a light on, you are on public display. Window coverings would also help to keep the house cool, which would have been good as temperatures reached 35 degrees during our stay.

We spent 4 nights at Oceanmist to celebrate my 40th birthday and I will never forget this holiday. The home was absolutely beautiful, perfect location opposite Oaks Beach with amazing views and truly relaxing vibes. The home was so spacious and accommodated 5 adults and 4 children with ease. There was so many outdoor games to keep everyone entertained for hours. Ebony and Dane are incredible hosts and checked in throughout the stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Wonderful, peaceful cottage. Comfy bed gave a blissful night sleep. Oodles of hot water and good water pressure gave a devine, relaxing shower before collapsing to bed after a full day of travel. Loved strolling through the bamboo and mango grove, along the country roads, exploring the area, and sitting under the shade trees. Dog safe verandah, loads of walking with great sniffing opportunities for the dogs. Thanks for being a great host, showing us your hydroponics, sharing conversation and anecdotes, and discussing interesting areas of interest, including one of the best off leash beaches I've visited (in the non turtle breeding season) .

It was immaculately clean, beautifully styled, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect coastal escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hosts genuinely care about creating a welcoming and relaxing experience for their guests. The location is spot-on! It was peaceful and quiet, yet just minutes from Bargara, the marina, beaches, and everything the area has to offer. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, and this one is truly among the best. We’ll be recommending it to everyone we know and can’t wait to come back ourselves.

Really enjoyed our family getaway, especially because this sweet beach cottage is pet friendly. The house is charming, with space for the family, and the location is perfect for coastal walks. We loved visiting the turtle sanctuary and found the area full of natural beauty. Highly recommend.
