A small barn built with friends during a barn raising. Simple, stylish, with underfloor heating, compact but with a sense of space. Deck with hammock and barbcue extends into fields at the back. Private, lovely spacious comfortable beds , rustic but with a touch of luxury. Thirty minutes to Oxford, two minutes drive to village of Great Tew and Soho . One of three properties on site ( we live in one) the other is called The Artists House and if booked together can sleep 12 guests in total.

Wake up to beautiful sunrises, great wildlife and an expansive view. You may even see the 14 wild deer who wander around the farm.

'Rosie' Shepherd's Hut

Nestled in the corner of Barley Meadow at Spring Hill Farm, our Shepherd’s Hut offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. The hut features a modern en-suite, kitchenette, double bed, and a wood-fired hot tub outside the hut (added Oct 2024). Please note, there’s a 150-metre walk from the parking area, and as the hut is in a field, the path can get muddy—so come prepared!

They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake. 5 minutes drive from Soho Farmhouse, Wisteria Cottage is a luxurious two-bed cottage set in the tranquil Oxfordshire village of Sandford St Martin. Though centuries old, the cottage has undergone full renovation, completed in April 2022. Car advised or local taxis will need arranging as this is a rural hamlet.
