We can only agree with the many positive reviews many positive reviews. The house is highly recommended in every way. The location is the most beautiful in the village and since the house opens to the forest, you have a lot of privacy despite the traditional, rather narrow development in Valleggia. The amenities are excellent and more than complete; you just notice that the house has been set up for your own use, is maintained and things are also renewed. For example, the high-quality dishwasher and washing machine are brand new. So you get a lot of offers and measured by it, we also found the price very fair. Last but not least, the very nice contact with Wolfgang as well as the neighbors and the uncomplicated process (e.g. booking, key handover, questions, etc.) let us keep the stay in very pleasant memory. We would book the house again anytime.

A fantastic place high in the mountains with an amazing view. You do have to be able to walk well and have little physical defects because everything is stylish and you have to walk or scramble a lot of steps. But it is absolutely worth it if you like hiking and the beautiful nature and tranquility. You really feel going back in time here. In the evening, sitting outside with all the night noises such as the owl and the free-range boars. A location that is not for everyone but who can be absolutely recommended! And they have delicious cheeses! 😋

A beautiful, idyllic place in the middle of the mountains – perfect for switching off. The apartment was clean, tidy and there is a wood-burning stove. There was always plenty of wood. The terrace overlooking the valley and the surrounding mountains was a dream! Thanks to the awning, you also had a shady spot in the sun, ideal for relaxing. All around, the cows graze with cowbells. Massimo lives in the apartment above. You can hear it sometimes. The accommodation is very well equipped – it had everything you need. The path up to the hut is winding and narrow in places, but quite doable. It takes about 6 minutes by car to get down to the village, where there is a small mini-market, if you have forgotten something. A hike from Lago di Antrona to Lago di Campliccioli and around was really nice. A hike above the accommodation at Lago Alpe dei Cavalli is also worthwhile. You can even see ibexes. A really nice place to relax.
