Monthly Rentals in Barataria

We traveled to New Orleans to celebrate our son's graduation and Rachels place on the bayou was perfect! Everything was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed the gorgeous ride in with all the spanish moss covered trees and even saw a few gators. Rachel was very responsive to messages and quickly added a night for us (we just weren't ready to leave). 10/10 recommend.

This is the 2nd time we’ve rented this house and the only complaint I have is how hard it is to leave. Walking back into our own home after the most peaceful, perfect 3-day weekend felt like a letdown—because Sarah’s place is just that special. The house is beautifully maintained, surrounded by wildlife and nature, yet close enough to everything that you can get groceries delivered if needed. It’s the perfect balance of escape and convenience. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans, but close enough to travel back and forth. We really enjoyed the home and especially area next to the water. Jason was a great host.

My husband and our son recently stayed at this house with three other dads and their sons, and it was an unforgettable experience for all of them. The location was peaceful, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the fishing was fantastic — exactly what they hoped for in a weekend getaway. Communication with Margie was smooth and friendly. Everything was clearly explained and handled with care from booking to arrival, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The boys spent time bonding with their dads, fishing, and spending quality time outdoors. It’s the kind of trip that creates lifelong memories, and they already hope to return. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special family time and outdoor fun spot!
