Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Beautiful little place, perfect for a break

Gavin’s place was an excellent way to experience Seahouses, right from the heart of the harbour town only two minutes walk from the sea. The layout and furnishing was excellent, with the big warm lounge and kitchen both upstairs and the bedrooms below. Bonus points for having actual sharp knives and quality cookware, a rarity for AirBnb homes! Pubs and the excellent smokehouse within a few yards, all the rest of town on the other side of the harbour. We had a great time basing ourselves here for a week.

We loved our stay, beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. So many brilliant places so close by. Everything we could have needed was in the cottage, felt right at home. Couldn’t recommend enough, thankyou!

My sister and I had a fabulous few days at Pondicherry house. The weather was very kind to us which meant we could eat outside and watch the (many) birds and admire the view across the Coquet valley. We did some local walks and went to Warkworth castle, which gave some shade on a very hot day. Later on a storm came up; we were lucky to be off the beach by then and sheltered in the fantastic station bookshop in Alnwick. What a trip!

A lovely home for a break in Alnwick and we would highly recommend this to anyone. Parking outside the front door is very convenient and the house was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Thank you for the lovely welcome gifts on arrival. A really nice and unexpected touch. The location is brilliant and only a few hundred meters to the centre of Alnwick with a supermarket, restaurants and good pubs all close to hand. We will visit again. Thank you !

A lovely little place in a great location. Perfect for exploring the local beach and Berwick. Great base for Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick and even Edinburgh. Perfectly furnished, very clean and cosy. Will hopefully return at some point in the future.

One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Clean, extremely comfortable with everything you could need and lots of little extra touches. Great for the dogs with secure garden and loads of beach walks a short drive away and a really nice long loop walk around nearby fields right from the door. You really feel at home and we had an amazing week. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. It’s a beautiful apartment with an amazing sea view. In the evening, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves, and in the morning we woke up to a stunning view of the sea horizon. The place is very well equipped – we didn’t miss anything. The entire apartment is spacious and beautifully and stylishly furnished. The only downside for us was the mattress in the bedroom, as it was too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on. The location is excellent – the beach is right across the street and the shop is just a 5-minute walk away. North Berwick is a wonderful place to relax, and staying in this apartment added perfectly to the charming seaside atmosphere of the town.

The setting was perfect too—peaceful, charming, and a great base for exploring the area. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming, with incredible local knowledge that totally upgraded my trip. From hidden gems to the best spots to eat and explore, their tips made all the difference. Can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to coming back!

We were in town for a little over a week - mainly to make photography trips to Isle of May and Bass Rock. This flat was fantastic. Great views of the water and very close to several restaurants and an amazing bakery. We didn't even bring a car. Just took a train from Edinburgh and walked to and from the train station. Never felt the need for a car. If we ever find ourselves back in North Berwick, we will absolutely stay here again.

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

This was our third stay at this lovely flat and we can only reiterate the reviews we posted previously... Great flat in a perfect location for touring Northumberland as well as looking around Alnwick. Clean and nicely furnished. Easy parking with the parking disc. Communication excellent. I had a query on arrival which was very quickly resolved by a very helpful phone call. If you want to self cater there is a Morrisons less than 5 mins walk away. Otherwise there are lots of restaurants and takeaways. This flat is highly recommended. We will return!!

A lovely, spacious apartment with lovely bees across to Warkworth castle. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. It’s in a great location for walking into Amble and exploring the southern part of Northumberland.

The place was perfect for us, great location for our day trips. We turned the heat on the first night and it was toasty warm. We loved driving the back roads and the parking was great. Would recommend!

We LOVED staying here! It’s a beautiful home (even bigger than it looks in the pictures) next to a great local pub and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Adrian was super helpful, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we had a fab stay. 10/10!

We stayed here with our two young children for two nights, and we had a great time. A nice, peaceful site, which helped us to relax. The lodge had everything we needed and we would definitely return. Great location within easy reach of the castles and beaches.

This place was just what we wanted, a beautiful sea view and outstanding facilities. We didn’t want to leave and would recommend this treasure of a place to anyone wanting to get away from it all but with great places to visit locally.

Entering this well appointed, beautiful home, there is a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The skylights bring in the natural light to the bathrooms. The Kitchen is modern and sleek, with everything you need to make a first class meal. The visually stunning, spacious backyard has a wonderful garden. There is a park just behind the house. My daily jog would lead me down to the beach. Here i would do a quick cold plunge- rejuvenating my body. The area is surrounded by a world renowned collection of golf clubs. The Longniddry golf club is a short walk and is a fun track. Thank you for being great hosts.

We had a fabulous weekend and the house was perfect for a gathering of friends. Really well-equipped, beautiful surroundings and lovely communal areas. Dean was so speedy with communication and came to save us with the lights too!

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.
