The Nest - Cambridge

AndyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Ok, so James's place is immaculate, new, purpose-designed, tasteful, spacious (for a studio). This is exactly what an Airbnb should be. Everything is thought through, and yet it is quite minimal, which is just right. It's on the owners premises, but you don't notice that. It has it's own separate building. If I had to quibble it would be churlish - It's so smart it made me want to leave it perfectly behind me. Found myself cleaning up more than I would. :-). Fulbourn has really nice walks and a big recreation ground for exercise. Nice woods a short walk/jog away. Short of good food in the village. One pub shut down and another rather 'deep fried food' style. There's a third I have yet to try. (Next time). Price is a little on the high side for a studio, but as I chose it instead of the more expensive and awful Holiday Inn Express, I'm quite satisfied with the price too. It is Cambridge after all. I'll be back very soon, if he'll have me.

Spacious Family Retreat -sleeps 10-12

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A lovely property, incredibly spacious, a huge garden, the house has everything you need, a fully stocked kitchen, board games and DVD's, everything has been thought of. Large driveway on a private road, plenty parking, no noise at all very peaceful, the prefect place to relax, a family oriented property, great for couples or families with children. Easy to find with lock box access. Plenty of towels, comfy beds, with one downstairs for access. I fully reccomend this property. Not far from main roads, but far enough away for a peaceful retreat. A lovely place to stay in a very nice village.

I stayed at Helena's place for 3 nights with my elderly father, to visit friends and family in Suffolk. Helena was really helpful, responsive and kind right from the start to the end of our stay. She greeted us on arrival, showed us the place and left us to enjoy the peace and quiet but always available if needed. The stable conversion is spacious, warm and comfortable, making us feel relaxed and at home as soon as we walked in. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a big SMEG fridge and freezer. We enjoyed breakfast made with eggs, bread, butter and milk Helena kindly provided (apples and chocolates too). I loved the natural light from the skylights. Wifi connection and TV with Amazon fire stick were good. There were books on the bookshelves and a pack of cards as well. Mattress, pillows and duvet were all clean, fluffy and comfortable. Our trip was enjoyable because of our restful and comfortable stay at Helena's place. Thank you. We will stay there if we come to Suffolk again.

Charming 2-Bedroom Cottage in Cambridgeshire

AdiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rachel is very helpful and super responsive. She gave us the location pin on Google map and then property was easy to locate. Property was lovely. We had a issue with the main door lock. But She lives next door and sorted it out. Putting some curtains on the large doors and windows in the living area for privacy would be great.

Beautiful 2 Bed Suffolk Barn with Parking

Really nice place, we used as a base to go to Addenbrookes for appointments. Deidre turned the heating on for us as it was a bit cold. Really helpful.
A hand-drawn map of Blackbarn Wood illustrates the layout of the property, highlighting various areas such as the Wildflower Meadow, Top Wood, and Badger Wood. Paths are marked for navigation, and the surrounding landscape is depicted with greenery and natural elements.

Finest Retreats | Blackbarn Wood

Perfect place for a peaceful, romantic getaway- exactly what we had in mind! The place is well maintained, elegantly decorated, had everything we needed for our stay. It is set up in a small village with a nice neighbourhood pub, also very close to Cambridge. The welcome cookies and the marshmallows were very thoughtful. Despite it was a bit chilly, we loved sitting in the patio; the binoculars and the telescope were great additions for bird watching or star gazing on a clear day. We travel quite a bit, hence have stayed in many air BnBs; but we must say- this is the BEST bed we have ever had! We would definitely love to come back again.
