Beachfront vacation rentals in Ballito

This is an excellent house in an excellent location of the northern KZN coast. Beach is a small stroll away and the house is designed in a very functional way, with a big common area but very private bedrooms. One of my best finds on AirBnB.

We had an amazing stay at this gem on the Dolphin Coast! The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and tidal pool. The sea views are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the verandah overlooking Chakas Rock. It’s ideal for a couple or small family, with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering holiday. The complex is safe and quiet, with restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended for a coastal getaway!

Probably the best place to stay in Ballito, right on the beach with a beautiful balcony. We'd definitely stay here again for a next visit !

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

Thank you Chad for a great stay ! The location of your home is perfect and the views from the house overlooking the sea and lagoon are spectacular. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a dishwasher. Overall a great experience !

Our stay was exquisite ! Roelof and team were always responsive and always looking for ways to make our stay comfortable with little to no inconvenience. The ocean views were incredible and the place was conveniently located near the beach. The place is filled with all the amenities you could think of - and we would definitely stay here again . We had a lovely time and we thank the team for ensuring we had a great stay .

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

Beautiful home where the ocean wakes you and puts you to bed. Security was very good. Easily accessible and close to all amenities. Host was very responsive and assisted quickly.

It was amazing I’ve stayed at many airbnb before and this place was the best by far. Beach a stone throw away. Supermarkets and restaurants are walking distance. Literally had everything and more. Comfortable Cosy Well equipped The braai area is convenient with sinks and lighting. The pool is clean and large. The gates keep the monkeys away I’m super impressed! As well as all the beach equipment. Enough Beach towels. Snorkel gear Baby things Literally thought of everything And having the domestic worker everyday was just the cherry on top She’s great! Will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay. The view is spectacular and having our breakfast and dinner on the veranda overlooking the sea and watching the sun rise and set was so special. The unit is very large and we comfortably stayed there with 4 adults and 2 children. The kids loved the pool!! And we walked straight onto the beach every day. We’ll definitely book this unit again. 😊

I have been in the event planning industry in the USA for over thirty years. I honestly could not think of a single negative to say about Jean and Brett’s rental home. Location, value for money, ocean views, amenities and location were perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. I would be back in a heartbeat! We just live a tad far away! The views and sounds of the Indian Ocean were spectacular. The master bedroom and a secondary bedroom both had sliding door access to the large balcony. We were close to shopping and restaurants on Ballito. We went on a couple of excursions but the meeting point was about 45 min to an hour away, depending on time and traffic. The meeting point was down at south beach, close to the magnificent soccer stadium. This unit is on the third floor; there is no elevator, just in case you have problem with stairs. The property attendants were helpful and friendly as they assisted me with getting my luggage up to the third floor. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay at Melanie’s place again.
