Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ballarat Central

Absolutely loved Carlos’s house! Was perfect for our girls trip away. Great location, close to the Main Street, beautiful styling, super clean and had everything we needed. Plus we arrived to a warm house on our first night!

Rachel’s a lovely host, and the place was so cosy and well located, just a couple of minutes from the main street and shops.

Perfect for a rainy long weekend! We were given the perfect amount of firewood/kindling for our stay. We were kept very warm (which was much needed this weekend)! It was super relaxing listening to the rain pouring in the roof of the cabin. During the day we explored Convent Art Gallery & the Mill Market. At night we enjoyed choosing from the provided DVDs what to watch! Perfect place to switch off :)

This home was incredibly beautiful but also homey? We just didn't want to leave the house! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the view of the garden from each bed was lovely.......great spots inside - we had a fire one night be outside the next......really well fitted out kitchen. The home feels like it's enveloped in a secret garden so very 'cosy' and picturesque - helps you to relax! It was a little further from the main street than we originally thought - and it was uphill - so watch out for that if you're not into walking hills - but we did it and it was good excercise! All 3 x bedrooms were beautiful which is unusual. And beautiful artwork!

We had a fantastic stay. The place is beautiful and the house has everything you could need. It was spotless and very well presented. We had a great time and hope to stay again sometime soon!

We have waited a while to stay at Stonehenge and it was worth the wait. It was peaceful, cosy and very comfortable. All the amenities were great and everything was of great quality. Andreana was terrific with communication and lovely to deal with. I hope we get the opportunity to spend some more time there.

It is our second stay at Sylvia's place and we are already planning our third. It is beautifully set out and clean with country views out each window and comfy beds. Fabulous heating kept us warm on a cold weekend. We couldn't ask for a more responsive host. Seating in the lounge is suitable for 6 people only but plenty of seating at the dining table. We were very impressed with the emergency lighting when our power went out for a short time in the area.

The home was lovely and clean with plenty of room! Garage was a great space for older kids to hang out! Great selection of basic kitchen needs.

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

I loved Renee and Izy’s place. Perfect location (short walk onto the Main Street, and up to the Convent). The heating was great, the bed was comfy. Thanks so much.

Really nice, kinda period New York laid out apartment. Directions are good. Master bedroom is enormous and nice n dark n quiet at night. Well located close to Sturt Street. We enjoyed our stay for 4 over Christmas

Great location and friendly staff, would come back here again

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

Great location and close to ammenities. Can be a little noisy at night due to the building being directly on the main stretch, but this is no different to any other apartment in a similar position. It's a beautiful apartment and well appointed.

Spent 2 nights La Boheme. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is in the middle of nature with plenty of wildlife. The highlight was definitely the regular kangaroos bouncy past the house. The location is perfect with plenty to do and plenty to see.

Great property with amazing views!

The villa was spotlessly clean, beds are extremely comfortable, toiletries are hotels-grade, kitchen is fully equipped, quiet surroundings and only a few minutes walking distance to town centre, cafes, restaurants & amenities. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool while I got to de-stress in the spa (master toilet). Highly recommended 5-star experience and we will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Chris’s place. The house is beautifully styled with lots of character and charm, and it was spacious and comfortable throughout. The central location made it easy to explore Daylesford, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the street. The bathrooms were spotless, fresh linen was provided, and everything was well-maintained. Chris was a great host—very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing and stylish stay in Daylesford!

Jo’s place is a beautiful example of Ballarat housing in the late19th/early 20th century that has been renovated to a high standard. The location is within a 3 minute drive to the CBD whilst still being away from heavy traffic areas. The house comfortably housed 4 but could easily have six without having people fall over each other. The beds and linen made sleep very easy and you can see some thought has gone into how to set the house up for guests. My only issue was I was only staying the one night, if you were spending a few days in Ballarat this would be a very good house to stay in, large, roomy, well set out and well thought out for the guest.

LUXVUE was one of the most affordable and luxurious Daylesford experiences my partner and I have ever had. Situated on peaceful Lake Daylesford, it was such a beautiful getaway from life in the city. Could not recommend this location enough, and appreciated the friendly and responsive communication from Ben and Cassey!
