Blanchville Coach House 2

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Coach House was such a lovely stay for our group. The house and grounds are beautiful. Our group of 4 had plenty of space in the house to lounge and relax. The location is in a rural area of Kilkenny, but it’s only a 10/15 minute drive into the city. We had such a lovely time and would love to go back.
A modern kitchen is highlighted by a large island with a white countertop and dark cabinetry. Elegant pendant lights hang above, illuminating the space. A window provides views of the lush countryside, while sleek appliances are integrated into the cabinetry.

House in the Countryside

We really enjoyed our stay at Mary’s place. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable and the shower was good. Mary left some milk and food in the fridge which was a v nice touch. Lovely views of the countryside. We would highly recommend Mary’s place and look forward to staying again another time. Pamela
A view of Kilkenny Castle is presented, situated on a hill overlooking the river. The historical stone structure is surrounded by lush greenery, while colorful buildings line the waterfront. A stone bridge connects the two shores, and ducks can be seen gliding across the calm water.

E. Gray house

Shane’s home was so lovely and everything you see in the pics was exactly how it was. The pathway leading up to the house was also lovely and plenty of privacy. There were a few reviews talking about the noise outside but I personally found it extremely quiet at night. If you ever need anything, Shane was very quick to respond. If you’re into hiking would recommend the Coumshingaun Lough loop although it’s quite advanced so be prepared, bring your hiking boots and plenty of water. It was so easy to get in and out of the city and Shane will provide all the best restaurants and pubs (and was helpful when he let us know closing days!). All in all, highly recommend and have already convinced my friends for future stays :)
A spacious driveway is visible, accommodating multiple vehicles. The well-maintained surface is bordered by greenery on one side and leads to a detached garage with black double doors. A peaceful environment can be noted in the surrounding area.

The cottage was really very nice, charming, well decorated and convenient, close to the axes while being quiet. Thank you so much to Colette (and her pets) for their warm welcome, don't hesitate!

We spent a few great days touring the area and this place made a great base - perfect for what we wanted, well equipped and in beautiful surroundings. We’d definitely stay again the next time we are in this part of Ireland and 100% recommend to anyone reading this listing. The welcome from the lovely dogs was a real bonus.

The Lodge - Rural Tipperary bordering Kilkenny

Richard Whitney Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Michael and Avril are wonderful people. Genuine , caring, hard working people. They were fresh baked muffins upon our arrival. The second day, Michael brought over some delicious desserts prepared by his sons. To wake up to the sound of the bleating of lambs and sheep, the lowing (moo) of the cows and the occasional rooster awakening the world is so refreshing. A great place to call home as you travel to the surrounding towns and villages to experience the taste of Ireland. The hosts are just beautiful people. Richard and Linda
