It is an ideal choice for those who want to get away from the city noise and enjoy the nature.The place is named after a bird called the hoopoe which lives in the area and is most often seen on the way to the cottage when taking a powder bath. Our unique Hungarian-style guesthouse was built in early 19th century and its furnishings, even after renovation, are reminiscent of that era. It is located 7 km from Lake Balaton and 4 km from Káli basin, on the northern shore of the lake. All the important rooms (kitchen, bathroom, spacious living room, bedroom) are on the ground floor, with a steep staircase to the attic leading to a more modern bedroom. It is a listed building. Accomodates max. 5 people. Nice indoor playing area for kids.

There is lots of things to do like wine tasting, biking, hiking, horseback riding, water sports etc. Hungary's most beautiful golf course is only 2,6 kilometers away. Within 300 meters there is an open air cinema.

The Champagne Apartment is a quiet, close to nature and discreet home, from where you can reach the center of Balatonfüred and the shores of Lake Balaton in a few minutes. Perfect for hikers and cyclists. The stairs to the gallery are steep, so come with children who are not yet climbing or are already climbing safely. I provide a travel bed, baby bath, changing mat, and high chair for babies.
