This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Nature cottage the Twadde Hûske

Het Twadde Hûske is a cozy, colorful and comfortable apartment (with air conditioning) that can be booked for max. 5 people + possibly a baby. The Twadde Hûske has a soothing view over the meadows, located on a private road, with a nice terrace equipped with lounge chairs and a picnic table. Equipped with air conditioning (for heating and cooling) and underfloor heating. It is, in my humble opinion (+ that of the many guests), the most complete Airbnb you can find. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered beneath a wooden embankment, you look out over the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living room, and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

Welkom in ons unieke tiny house, verscholen in een privébos aan de rand van het charmante Friese dorp Noordwolde. Deze moderne accommodatie is ideaal voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers. Geniet in de zomer van je ruime prive tuin met zitgedeelte, een veranda en een hangmat tussen de bomen. In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. Next to our small nature campsite (this is only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful vacation home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
