The master bedroom has a bed of 220 cm long. The private garden on the southwest has a dining table and igloo greenhouse, where you can sit comfortably (even in the evening). Unobstructed view.

The Landscape

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found on the grounds of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and into the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin contains a bedroom, bathroom and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

The shop is located on the main road from Bakkeveen to Wijnjewoude. And in the village center of Bakkeveen, and 100 meters from the forest. A nice base for walks, bike rides and culinary enjoyment. Bakkeveen offers many activities, such as hiking and of course in summer the largest flea market in the north.

In the summer, enjoy your spacious private garden with seating area, a veranda and a hammock among the trees. In winter, you can sit comfortably inside by the wood-burning stove, which heats the room in no time. The tiny house is compact but equipped with every comfort!

The entrance is at the front and the space is on the ground floor with a double box spring, a seat, the kitchen with refrigerator, bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. In the kitchen there is a Senseo, a coffee maker, plates, cutlery, etc. and a kettle. Also ideal as a (home) workplace.
