Beautiful bright, clean and well-equipped apartment with very nice views of the beach. Due to the location on a hill, the path to the beach is relatively long. Good description at check-in (with video), helpful, illustrated instructions for household appliances, many tips and suggestions for activities. Good and fast communication, exclusively via chat. We enjoyed the time very much.

Very nice accommodation, comfortable and in a very good location. We had a lovely stay. Parking is a bit complicated, but we always end up finding a place.

An excellent stay! The apartment was impeccably clean, very well decorated and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the WiFi worked perfectly. The location is unbeatable: in a quiet area but close to everything, with shops, restaurants and public transport within walking distance. In addition, the host was very kind and helpful at all times, responding quickly to any questions and giving very useful recommendations about the area. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in the future. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

The house was much better than we imagined. The service was perfect and everything was very clean and prepared. The only thing I think could be improved is the check-out time: it's usually at 12 noon and so there's more time to clean, but in this case it was at 11.

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

For anyone going with dog(s). Two long walkable paths along the river for your dog(s) just across national road (50-100) from the house itself. Izaskun is animal lover, and she is super tolerant in that sense. The yard in front of the house has wall so if your dog is not cangaroo you are good. Everything about the place is more that good, not to write more superlatives than all 5 star notes I left to Izaskun. Nice weekend - we will probably repeat.

Mikel was very responsive and met us outside to drive with us into the car parking and to show us around the property.The apartment is as listed and is a short bus or subway drive to the center of Bilbao. Would highly recommended this property.

I had a wonderful stay at Erika's home. The house is spacious, clean, and offers stunning mountain views that made for a serene getaway. Our stay was unbeatable. Located on the beach of Berria, (just 2 minutes from the walking sand), perfect for families who want to enjoy the beach or for surfers. The area is very quiet and noisy, but if you want more movement in 5 minutes you are in the center of Santoña where you have all kinds of services. The accommodation is equipped with all kinds of details, complete kitchen battery, internet, table rack and storage spaces. The beds are very comfortable. All super clean and well organized. Sandra is very good host, always attentive and available to make everything perfect and offering great recommendations on places to visit and restaurants in the area. You can tell he cares about every detail to make the experience unforgettable. I will definitely be back on my next trip, I recommend it 100%.

Amazing apartment in a wonderful location. A walkable distance to the beach and some amazing places to eat and drink nearby. Jesus and his wife were amazing hosts too & went above and beyond to help with our needs. This included helping me after spraining my ankle by arranging a friend to pick me up to take me to local medical centre & getting myself fixed up so I could attend the football final we had flown over for. I would highly recommend the apartment and I’ll definitely would be making a return visit one day.

Alejandro was a great host and the apartment was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, it is excellent value for money. The views from the balcony are amazing and the general location is beautiful.

Great location in old town. The apartment is very spacious and had all amenities. Everything you need is a walk away. Highly recommend. Check in was a little complicated. I would recommend using Apple Maps to go to the actual address provided. Something about using google maps did not work. As long as host provides pictures it’s easy to find.

Hosts were extremely helpful. You get the ground floor & basement of their large family home to yourselves. Plenty of room. Cake & wine on arrival. Perfect base to see the Basque region & watch your team win the Europa League! Eskerrik asko!

Accommodation as described in the listing, attentive host and giving clear instructions for both arrival and departure. It is a residential development on the outskirts of Castro Urdiales, and you can reach the beach in 5 minutes by car. There's an Eroski across the street. One drawback is that the parking is a bit tight for large cars, we had to choose to leave it outside.
