Beachfront vacation rentals in Bakio

We spent the May holiday and we couldn't have chosen better. A beautiful area, wonderful surroundings and the house with everything you need to feel at home. I'd like to highlight Almudena's attention, who helped us at all times and made us feel like family. We will definitely be back.

Well equipped, nicely done apartment Comfortable bed. Nice linens/towels. The location is great, just a few minutes from the beach, marina, restaurant, and train station. Miren was so kind to provide us with a few grocery items to begin our stay.

We stayed one night at Asier's place, the apartment totally responded to our request, Asier for that matter too! Very responsive, friendly and pleasant person. 500m walk from the old port it is beautiful 25 min by car from Bilbao and otherwise 35 min by metro station just downstairs. We will come back to your place Asier for our next visits to the Basque coast!

Juan’s place was perfect, we could not fault it. We had two small kids, with a stroller and found it easily accessible by lift. We rented a mid-sized car and were able to use the car park without too much hassle. Juan and Paula were super friendly and helpful throughout. The location was fantastic for exploring Bilbao, while also offering a quieter neighbourhood and beaches nearby. The apartment was spotless and cosy, with beautiful views and the double bed was the most comfortable we have slept in! 100% recommend.

Perfect apartment for a getaway with everything you need to enjoy a few quiet days with beautiful views, the patio is excellent to enjoy with the dog. The place has an excellent location, close to everything and highly recommended. To repeat!!

This is not the most polished Airbnb you’ll ever stay in but it is honest, good value and has everything you’ll need (with a slight ‘bachelor pad vibe’ as my wife put it). In the heart of gothic town area near the port but not too noisy. A little grungy (which fits the Lekeitio ethos). Easy walk to beautiful coastal views and port beach/island. What makes it especially charming is that Paul is ultra friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and very helpful local recommendations and guidance.

Jabi is an amazing host! The apartment was clean, spacious and the perfect size for family of 5! He left us a basket of fruit and stocked the kitchen with essentials- milk, juice, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper! He even left us potatoes so I was able to make tortilla de patatas! Communication with Jabi was excellent and was quick to respond to our texts. There were a few restaurants nearby and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

This is an apartment of superlatives! Very tastefully remodeled and furnished with incredible views of the sea and harbor. However, you have to work to get to this apartment: three narrow, steep stairs up with the luggage (!) but it's worth it. A culinary high-end restaurant at the harbor. Check-in also worked out great.

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

Had a great time at Estíbaliz's apartment. Excellent apartment, with all the necessary accessories, comfortable in new condition, and very clean when we arrived. Excellent welcome from Estíbaliz, when we arrived to give us all the necessary explanations, and responding almost instantly to our messages, whether in writing or by having it on the phone Very attentive, every time we asked for information, and anything else. The location is very good, and the parking just below the apartment is locked. Another nice thing, a supermarket is just next door. All this is located very close to the city center and the beaches. We'll be back without hesitating.

The host is very friendly and helpful!There are many shops near the house, and it is close to the beach!The house is on the fifth floor and has an elevator. Not only that, we want to praise the host's hospitality. We love the variety of coffee machines, which are convenient and meet everyone's needs.

Thr apartment itself is lovely and spacious. Steep stairs to navigate to the front door but that's because the village is built on a stip bit of coast. The village itself is lovely. Sitting in the harbour and having a coffee was fantastic. There's a bus to Bilbao but it's a very steep walk to it. First class apartment. First class village. We travelled for the Europa League final and were so pleased we picked this place. We will be back.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment – everything was absolutely perfect! The flat is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for comfortable living, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The location is just unbeatable – close to everything, in a lovely area, and honestly, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better spot. The host was exceptionally kind, responsive, and thoughtful – always ready to help and made me feel very welcome from the start. I genuinely couldn’t find a single downside. Highly recommended – I would come back in a heartbeat!

We had the best stay we could ask for. I have never seen such amazing hosts! Nerea was absolutely a savior and drove 1 hour in the bus to give me my passport which I forgot. This is something you will never see any host do. The apartment was super clean and welcoming. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. No doubt I’ll be back!

It is a lovely appartment, clean and well located. The main issue we had was with the check in - information was sent via a third party using whats app. This asked for passport details etc. and also seemed to be requesing extra payment although this wasn't the case. I was anxious because airbnb state to only communicate via ther app. When i tried to contact the host, he was slow to repond so we arrived unsure if we would be able to access the flat since we hadn't completed the check in via whats app. In the end it was all fine and the instuctions worked, but it wasn't made clear on the listing about this process, and the process goes against Airbnb's advice about communicating with hosts via their app...

Amazing stay and beautiful area. We caught the end of the festival in Bilbao and there was dancing and live music just outside of the apartment. It was a ton of fun! Plus there is a cool gondola to take you across the river. Cool stay and would 100% recommend to anyone!

A very nice, modern furnished apartment, overlooking the harbor. The amenities were very good and offer everything you need. The apartment is centrally located, restaurants and shops are very close.

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was as stated, clean and very cozy. Jaione was also very friendly and always easily accessible. She had helpful tips for us and made our vacation more enjoyable.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. The village itself is lovely with some great restaurants. Without Ray at home and will definitely visit again, thank you.
