Hidden away on the lovely wooded hillside of the Derwent Valley between Bakewell and Matlock, within 3 miles of Chatsworth House & Haddon Hall. Great for walkers, situated down a quiet lane, with fantastic walks from the front door through woodland, fields or moorland. .

The Pudding Stop - Bakewell - Free Parking

Our beautiful and newly refurbished (2023) cottage is right in the heart of Bakewell, Derbyshire. The location could not be more convenient - it's a minute walk into the centre where you will find excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops. We now also include free on-street parking. The Pudding Stop sleeps 2 guests (babies and dogs welcome too!) and is available for short breaks and week stays. This little hideaway is set within the garden of our 1830’s Grade II listed property.

If you want peace and solitude with stunning sunset views in a comfy, lived-in, dog-friendly place of your own Copy Wood Cottage is your ideal location. Situated on a steep hill above the Derwent Valley, it’s a short drive or good walk to Chatsworth and Bakewell and Matlock. Nestled on the edge of Beeley Moor Copy Wood sits below woodland and is surrounded by fields grazed by sheep. A short walk down brings to Rowsley village. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Willow Cottage Newly renovated quaint cottage

Nestled away in the village of Youlgrave, in the heart of the Peak District National Park this newly renovated cottage is the perfect bolt hole for couples, friends and single travellers looking to get away from it all. It is a great place for walkers and cyclists with access to the Limestone Way, White Peak Way and the Alternative Pennine Way. There are three public houses which all serve home cooked food using local produce and there are two bakeries, a deli and post office.

Chander Hill Cottage is a stylish 3-bedroom barn conversion nestled above the village of Holymoorside, on the edge of the Peak District. This cosy cottage is a perfect base for exploring the countryside, with numerous walks from the door and two pubs just a mile away in the village. Nestled on the river wye in what is widely known as the prettiest village in the Peak district River cottage has it all. One king size bedroom with en suite a double both with amazing views of the river and a single, it’s large family bathroom with jacuzzi style bath is perfect for a relaxing soak after a day in the peaks. Down stairs is a large dining room, lounge with gas fire and fully fitted kitchen but with the Tea room and Bulls head within 1mins walk you may not need it.

Nestled in a conservation area, with Chatsworth a short drive away, we offer a warm welcome to guests from all backgrounds.

Black Swan Cottage

This lovely cottage dates back to 1570 and is thought to be the oldest in the village. It is Grade 2 listed and has a wealth of beams and character. There is a great log fire in the cosy sitting room for those long winter nights. You can begin many walks into Derbyshire countryside from the door and plenty of pubs are within walking distance. The River Wye runs through the village - perfect for cooling that bottle of wine.

Quince cottage is a truely delightful terraced, natural stone built cottage dating back to the 19th Century. Situated in the picturesque village of Ashford in the Water, in the Peak District.
