Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Baker County

My airbnb cancelled a week before my trip. I was grateful to find this super cute farmhouse on such short notice. Wonderful space and homemade cookies! Thanks again.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Gardens in Baker City! John & Heather were amazing hosts — warm, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. John even made a special trip to Bi-Mart to pick up two extra pillows for us — such a thoughtful gesture that really made us feel cared for. The home itself is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. You can tell a lot of love and attention has gone into creating a peaceful and inviting space. It was the perfect retreat after a day spent with family, and everything we needed was right there. We plan to make this our go-to spot every year when we come to town. Can’t recommend The Gardens highly enough — thank you, John & Heather, for such a wonderful experience!

Such a lovely little home, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay so much, and will be back next time we go to Baker.

This home away from home was perfect while attending my Uncle's funeral. The beds were comfortable, the house was great, and the hosts were marvelous! We would absolutely stay here again!

Cool house out in the country. Tons of parking and no close by neighbors. There is no central air conditioning as mentioned in the listing so it can get warm even during our stay in early May. Also house is located on a country gravel road so it that's an issue be aware of that. Beds and linens were comfy and the house was overall comfortable and easy to navigate. 🙂

We had a wonderful stay. The place is awesome. View is amazing and it’s very private. It is an older mobile home which we knew, but was surprised at how clean and homey it is. Very nostalgic which I like. The beds were comfortable too which is a big plus. We went for fishing and the house is literally less than ten minutes from boat launch. We will definitely go back.

We stayed at Stacy's place for only one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a nice view of Cornucopia Mountain. We would love to stay at Stacy's place again when we have more time. It was a beautiful drive to and from Halfway. The house would be a great place to use as a base camp for the nearby scenic day hikes in this area of the Wallowa Mountains.

Perfect location and privacy

Despite a couple of hiccups, we had a wonderful experience. Blake was so kind and responsive and made sure we were able to have a satisfactory visit. Thank you for hosting!

Wonderful place and wonderful hosts. It was more space than the two of us needed, but so comfortable. Baker City is a cute town with lots of history and beautiful surrounding countryside. Many things are closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday while we visited in May. Highly recommend the loft.

Michelle was a great host. She helped me book another night, we ended up staying 3 nights. She was very friendly and helpful during our stay if we needed anything. I have stayed in some great Airbnb's but so far this has been my favorite. It is very spacious and beautifully decorated. My parents came along with my husband and I to watch the basketball state tournament, so they stayed in the guest room. The Airbnb is very well done. Extremely clean. We definitely want to come back so we can have more time to explore Baker City. Thank you again Michelle. It was so much fun to spend time at your Airbnb. The shower and big bath tub was amazing.

I loved my stay here. It was so nice to be welcomed by the aroma of freshly baked bread and the sound of relaxing music. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Check in and out was really easy.

Cindy’s place was perfect for a small family gathering where we enjoyed dinner at Haines Steakhouse then had cake and ice cream in this cozy rental right next door. We found the large space ideal with newer comfy furniture, well appointed kitchen, large bathroom and very comfortable cozy beds. We enjoyed the creative and thought out decor as well as the tv for relaxing. We would very much like to stay again next time we make our way to Haines. Thanks Cindy!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! From the fresh baked bread to the decor to the comfy bed to the covered fire pit, everything was fantastic. The location was ideal - on a quiet street and walkable to downtown. We would definitively stay again.
