Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bagnols-en-Forêt

We stayed with Domi for almost a week during our trip to the Côte d'Azur and would have liked to have stayed longer. The small vacation home is perfectly located to walk to the village, the harbor and the two city beaches. Other beaches are within 10-15 minutes by car. The outdoor kitchen and pool are a dream. We stayed outside almost all the time and always felt comfortable. Although you live at home with Domi, her husband and her dog, there is plenty of privacy. The hosts are also very warm and helpful. Overall, one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at. Absolutely recommended.

We were very well received with a bottle of wine and some local products. Fabienne was very attentive to us, good communication and discreet. The villa was very clean and pleasant to stay in with its swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Small touches like a few coffee capsules and a few board games are always appreciated. The villa is on a small hill that will warm your calf and even more if you want to go to the small village of Callas on foot, you will need to arm yourself with good shoes but once you get there the village is sublime with its supermarket, a few restaurants, cafe, pmu and its bakery enough to easily stock up. Thank you so much for everything! We had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully designe, maintained and comfortable. TV in both lounge and bedroom. A small kitchen has all you need for preparing meals. Quadruple glazing cuts out traffic noise from the promenade traffic. The view of the sea is stunning with lots of interest from boats of all descriptions from fishing boats to super-yachts. The promenade is used by cyclists, runners, in-line skaters and is also great for walking. We visited the very interesting and beautiful Renoir house, a museum within walking distance from the apartment. Nice, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes are all within easy reach by rail, which we found to be the best transport. Buses stop outside the flat, especially the 41 which takes you into the centre of town where there are frequent street markets and a covered market selliing fresh fish meat and veg. Numerous restaurants, french, italian, asian are all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Peter and Elizabeth Bryant

Phil and Emmanuelle were great hosts. When we arrived, they offered to drive us into Vence to show us around which was super helpful. We shared a drink with Phil as well as he told us about the area and gave amazing local recommendations. The property is very peaceful; a short 30ish minute walk to Vence, or to St. Paul de vence in either direction. We loved our stay. Recommended

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved swimming in the pool to cool off after sightseeing in the area. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils to cook in the outdoor kitchen. The setting is beautiful with a fantastic garden with interesting plants and flowers and a view of Nice and the sea on a clear day.

We had a great time at this place! The setting is simply beautiful, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The jacuzzi is a real plus, and perfectly maintained. Breakfasts on the terrace in the sun are very pleasant, a real joy to start the day. And what a pleasure to have been able to observe the horses right next to the rental, it adds even more charm to the place. A soothing and exotic experience. I would highly recommend it!

A villa where when we walk through the front door, we already feel at home :) everything is done, so that we feel good. Everything is planned down to the last detail, nothing is missing. The villa is really located in an exceptional place. Perfect communication with the host or co-host. The host was very accommodating whether for the check-in time or the check-out time. I'd recommend it without a second thought. Nothing to say but: perfect.

WOW. Charming, inspiring, peaceful, and AMAZING!!! I could have lived there forever. Everything about this place was perfect! Having the window open to listen and watch the birds play and people enjoy the fountain during the day and then the peace that sets over the place at night sets you up for the most amazing sleep! There is air conditioning if needed and everything you need for the most comfortable and charming stay! Walking distance to everything you need and more and THE VIEWS around every beautiful corner!!! We ate wonderful food and had the best time!! What we enjoyed most was chatting with the hosts and shopping in their gallery and shop right there! Don’t hesitate to stay here - I know we will return!!!

Judy was nice and communicative. Check in was easy. The neighborhood is convenient and easy to navigate. The elevator was good. The air conditioning was good. The recent renovation was good. I would stay here again.

Excellent stay in Jerome's rental, everything is done to make you feel even better than at home. Brigitte, her mom who welcomed me, is super nice and helpful. I had a pleasant stay with my two dogs, super happy to be able to frolic in this large wooded area and to take walks to discover the bories and beautiful villages of the Var. What happiness!

Such a beautiful apartment and it’s just 5mins walk to the beach , super market , restaurants just few mins walk , moreover , 3 mins walk to train station that makes my trip a lot more easier , Jerome is such a nice gentleman and provide lots of suggestions , I definitely would come back again , thank you Jerome !

We had a very special short break at Zillah’s place. Valbonne is quintessential French: packed with independent boutique shops and restaurants with plenty of outdoor seating. Despite being an obvious tourist destination, it felt pleasantly ‘local’ as well. Our neighbours were very friendly and it was lovely to see the children playing in the street while parents and grandparents sat and chatted. The house itself has a small footprint but plenty of space over three floors. The main bedroom is particularly handsome, although the second bedroom has no windows, which would not suit everyone. The top-floor bedroom is open to the spiral staircase so privacy is a bit limited, but not a problem if you know all your fellow guests well! 😁 The roof terrace was a treat and a perfect spot for crémant and crevettes at the end of the day! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

Pros: Apartment extremely well located for visiting the area, close to transport (especially by boat) and basic shops (Auchan/Super U, pharmacy, etc.). Very well decorated and organized, though a little small. Ideal for a couple or a single person. Super easy access to the beach as well as a swimming pool in the complex, which is very good. Cons: If you want to cook, there is little space to store food in the kitchen. Also, a little disappointed to have paid a supplement for linens, but to have had only the bare minimum (one dish towel for several days, no hand towels, etc.) All in all a great stay, we highly recommend it!

Simon and Katya where amazing hosts. Very friendly and always available if needed. Checkin was super easy and smooth. The pictures did not do the place justice, it was much nicer in person. Very clean and comfortable. The home was well equipped with the basics needed. Location was ideal just 15 minutes from st tropez and 15 minutes to the beach’s yet the home was quiet and peaceful with nature. I would highly recommend staying here. Easley a 10/10 experience.

Hyper functional and very well-equipped studio with everything you need to feel at home, in a beautiful quiet property, with swimming pool. The accommodation is very well located for visiting the pretty villages of the area. Chantal and Martin are charming and welcoming and make sure their guests don't need anything. Everything was perfect, we loved our stay and would come back without hesitation!

Very nice accommodation. The garden is well laid out and everyone can find a little corner according to their desires (there were 7 of us), shade or sun, deckchairs, sofas or chairs.

We have spent a wonderful month at Barbara’s property; as others have said the photos simply do not do this beautiful property justice. We loved every aspect, from the location and peace to the brilliant facilities. Excellent property with enough size that everyone has privacy but also amazing gathering spaces. We loved the pool and sauna. We loved that every room has an ocean view. The kitchen is well stocked. The home is private, very secure, and clean. The host is very communicative. I would definitely rent from her again. A place of magic, surely.

a place with atmosphere and full of charm, quiet, peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle if someone has such a plan for rest, a place as described, nice and helpful hostess. Easy access to the beach, local bakeries, vegetable shops, markets, a nearby town with a market, local restaurants. A perfect place for trips to Saint Tropez, Cannes, Nice, St Maxime, when you want a little holiday hustle and bustle with lots of restaurants and shops, as well as to Grasse or Lake Verdon. It was a wonderful vacation
