Welcome to a nice little house with lush apple orchard and patio, only 15 minutes by bus from Oslo city center. The house is completely newly renovated and modernly decorated with loft and a full 4 meter ceiling height. Here you can relax in pleasant surroundings both indoors and outdoors, and get a "cabin feeling" close to Oslo. There are floor heating cables, a large and cozy fireplace that heats and rainfall shower in the bathroom. Outside there is a plating and patio of over 20m2 with barbecue, fire pit, kitchen garden and outdoor lighting.

Take the stairs down to get to the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen counter is quite small, but it has an induction top and oven. The apartment is suitable for one to two people who want to be close to hiking terrain and ski slopes. Nice starting point for nature walks. At the same time only 30 minutes from Oslo city center with museums and restaurants.

Our home is a modernized part of a 100 year old house, which is included in Norways preservation-listings. With its high ceilings and features of old elements, mixed with the new, it has a soulful and unique atmosphere. We are on the first floor and basement. It’s a 5 min walk from the subway, which will take you to downtown Oslo in 15-20 minutes. (15 minutes to Majorstua, where Vigelandsparken is) We have an annex with officespace and loungearea (with tv), and a trampoline.

We are just 5 mins by car to Asker downtown and train station, 15-20 mins by car to Oslo and 20-30 mins by public transportation (bus + train) to Oslo city center (#Aker Brygge). We live near the sea with around 15-20 mins walk to Hvalstrand or Spirabukta. Great opportunity for outdoor hikes right from our doorstep! Perfect for couples or solo business travellers!

Marianne is an excellent host. We stayed for 3 months and any queries we’ve had have been addressed swiftly. The property is in excellent condition and catered for two adults and a toddler. We particularly appreciated that the area is quiet and full of nature. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Emmelie’s place! The home was charming, comfortable and spacious. We all loved cuddling the cat and our kids really enjoyed the garden with trampoline and hut. The location is very nice, lovely neighbourhood and convenient for exploring Oslo. Communication with Emmelie was easy and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood with several playgrounds for the kids along with some great walking paths. The house is literally a minute from the bus stop, a bus that takes you into Oslo city center in about 40 minutes or so. 5 minutes from the beautiful Bærums Verk village too which is worth a visit. House itself was spotless and very well equipped with everything you may need, wonderful garden with a bbq which came in handy as the sun was out our entire trip.. almost, minus a rainy day. Extemely good value for money. 5/5 for us, we had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be back.

We had a lovely, relaxing time in Oslo. The apartment was super equipped, very clean, quiet and the subway was 7 minutes away. Bakery and shopping center also 7 min. walk. We can only recommend the apartment.

Should be in confirmation in Bryn / at Rykkin so the location was perfect. Decent space that made the use and good bed. Responded quickly to messages.

I stayed here for a work trip and everything was absolutely wonderful. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The location was perfect for my needs, and I had no issues at all. Highly recommended—I'd definitely stay again!

Beautiful home. 2 minute walk to a small beach. Neighborhood setting - very quiet and relaxing. 15 min from downtown Oslo. Great for large parties (we had 11 adults). Excellent hostess. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

Idyllic villa by the sea

We had such an amazing time during our stay and we couldn’t have wished for more! The house was just perfect, spacious and had it all! Also the view is breathtaking with the sea just few min walking distance! Andreas is also an amazing host, so kind, generous and responsive! We can’t wait to come back again!
