Vacation rentals with lake access in Baden-Württemberg

The stay was super relaxed. The hosts very friendly and accommodating. We are happy to recommend it! Were mostly 4 in the accommodation, with 6 people it could get pretty cozy. Saunas and the hot tub have rounded off the whole thing superbly 😊

With easy access and welcoming messages this characterful house was quickly home from home. The property is well maintained and furniture and fittings are of good quality..The kitchen is lovely and very well equipped. The location of the house is very convenient for public transport and easy walking distance to Lake Constance, a local well stocked supermarket and local bakery / cafe. As dog owners, the special welcome for our pet was much appreciated and the good sized well fenced garden was a great asset. The outside seating area was wonderful in the sunshine. Definitely a happy place to stay.

The entrance to the cottage is via number 9, and then follow signs “Haus Frieden”. You can enjoy peace and nature here, you only hear crickets, birds and frogs. It is lovely to sit/eat and enjoy under the porch. Across the road, you can walk into the forest where you can follow various hiking trails, usually you will not meet anyone, it is that quiet. It is nice to walk to the village Ludwigswinkel and have a nice meal or a drink there. You can also easily walk to the next village through the forest, Fischbach. Here you will also find a supermarket, bakery and a tasty doner/kebab shop.

We felt very comfortable, super nice large house with a garden in a quiet location. Communication with Corina was very straightforward and very friendly. Feel free to come back :)

We had a wonderful week in Gengenbach, it flew by and we could have easily stayed much longer. As a base, Gengenbach provided dozens of walks on our doorstep as well as being a springboard for many others. We made use of the free public transport options (tourist card) and parked the car up, which was a refreshing change. We ate at local restaurants on the recommendation of our hosts and were not disappointed - the food was lovely and the local restauranteurs were incredibly hospitable. At the end of our days adventuring we came home to a relaxing apartment which was so well equipped and cosy. Our hosts were friendly; welcoming us on arrival which was lovely and always there to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend this as a place to visit and pause for a moment in time.

We had a very nice time in Sylvia's cottage! Sylvia is a very friendly, helpful and sweet woman. Communication went smoothly and if we had any questions, Sylvia answered very quickly. The cottage is clean and well maintained, even better than in the photos. This cottage with the friendly host is definitely recommended!

Sophie is a very open and emphatic host. You feel welcome straight away. The apartment exactly matches the description. Everything was very clean and the equipment perfect. The value for money was perfectly consistent. Because we have many years of experience with vacation homes and apartments, we can recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

We had a pleasant stay in this very clean, peaceful and neatly decorated accommodation. The environment is conducive to relaxation and disconnection. Hosts are welcoming and responsive. We can only recommend this place!

We stayed four nights at the end of May for two in this beautiful apartment. It is large and bright and equipped with everything we needed. What you should know: you have to climb a relatively steep metal staircase to the second floor and there is no door to the sleeping area. The location in the countryside and at the same time close to the city is great. There was even a private parking space, large enough for our van and bike rack. And the host answered all requests within minutes very friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful and optimal apartment. The amenities are great, and everything is impeccably clean. Our stay at Europa Park was even better thanks to this accommodation. We will definitely come back for our next stay. I would highly recommend it.

Very nice place in a quiet location. Good accessibility to public transport. Good leftovers, were also nearby. The place is very centrally located, so you can quickly reach everything by car. The hosts were very nice and gave us great tips.
