We got to know Judit and Sandor as wonderful hosts. Communication was always warm, so the Google translation didn't bother us. In addition to the apartment furnished with a lot of love for detail, we were spoiled with delicacies. Likewise, a bottle of wine and water was available for us as a gift. The apartment had air conditioning that we could use for a fee and that also sweetened the hot days for us. The apartment was just steps from the Balaton swimming beach. There was a supermarket and restaurants in the village. Since we were there in the off-season, the beach was free of charge. In our opinion, a trip to the south beach by ferry and the lake cave in Tapolca are highly recommended. We express an unreserved recommendation for our warm hosts and thank you for the pleasant stay. we had so much fun, my family visited Balaton the first time. the cottage was lovely and we managed to use the fireplace too. no issues at all, highly recommend this place! we are planning to come back in the summer x

I have nothing but praise for Anett's property and her exceptional hosting. The area is a peaceful village by beautiful Lake Balaton, surrounded by green fields and vineyards. We loved cycling around, hiking to nearby attractions, and spotting wildlife. It was a true experience of tranquility and nature. The vacation home is delightful - beautifully furnished, spacious, and well-equipped. Our family of seven stayed comfortably for ten days. The large balcony overlooks a garden full of fruit trees, adding to the charm. Anett is an outstanding host. Her communication was excellent, and she went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Thoughtful touches like children's games, books, bicycles, and local maps truly elevated our experience. The house had everything we needed and more. It's rare to find such a well-prepared vacation home with so many amenities. In summary, every moment was enjoyable. For us, it was a dream vacation in a perfect setting.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

This place was exactly what we needed as two teachers wanting to get out of the city. Peaceful, countryside home with a beautiful sauna and jacuzzi that we used multiple times a day. We loved exploring this part of Hungary (we went to Lake Hévíz) and genuinely enjoyed our stay here. We biked from the train station to the Airbnb, which was hard in the winter. A car might be necessary for others.

Great recommendation! The place is beautiful and perfect for large groups. The caretaker, Levi, is very friendly and is helpful with any questions. You can also walk to the accommodation in 20 minutes from the train station.

Our stay at Bernd & Ingrid's was lovely and a dream for children! It is a quiet place, with many activities for all ages. Lake Constance is not very far away and there are nice excursion destinations nearby. Bernd & Ingrid were very friendly and always available for questions, etc. Absolutely recommended for families with children. We will be happy to come back! :)

Our host, Adel, was wonderful. The accommodation was excellent—everything was clean and tidy, with a beautiful view. The kids were happy as well, as there were books and games for them. The lake is just a 10-minute drive away. Adel was a kind and welcoming host. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Ilona is a very attentive, warm host. Her architecturally cleverly renovated house is located in the middle of an oak grove, a very airy, relaxing and very quiet environment. Perfect for recharging and breathing deeply. Despite summer heat of up to 35 degrees, the temperatures in the house were very pleasant. Lake Balaton can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes, the small village shop in just 3 minutes. The truly excellent vegetarian restaurant "Veganetta" is also about 15 minutes away by foot. The place is highly recommended. Glad to come back!

The house is absolutely beautiful and has a great location.

A squirrel lives in the pine tree next to the terrace, we really appreciated the large trees in the garden for not being cut, the view from any of the terraces is amazing. Host responds quickly, proactive, recommended great cafes and restaurants in the area. The kitty is cute and so sweet! We had a great time.

We had a great stay m in August at this beautiful house, very precisciously for this hot period equipped with air condition. Enough space for 6 people and everything clean. Easy and flexible checkin. Walking distance to a great gelateria, some restaurants and the beach / promenade and train station.

Dorka's place in Balatonalmádi is a piece of paradise: small but cozy house placed in the midldle of the nature, with a beautiful view towards Lake Balaton. We had a great time, will definitely be back!

Well-equipped cottage in a peaceful, quiet place. The mountains and villages in the area are also very beautiful. The pictures don't show what a cozy, cute place it is! I think I'll come back. :)

The house was fully as described and pictured. Just an awesome view from the terrace on the 1st and 2nd floors. Silence, birds singing, well-maintained grounds - all you need for a good vacation. A wonderful vacation home with a well-equipped kitchen and nicely renovated interiors. We spent a super seven years here, Ákos is a very kind and helpful host, we were able to communicate easily. We would love to come back here again!
