The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

Our 95 square meter attic apartment is freshly renovated according to the latest standards. You can relax in 2 single rooms and 1 double room, which have a bed, wardrobe, nightstand and smart TV. A fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a large living room with work area are available for you. The bathroom has an XXL shower. You can park your car for free in our large parking lot. Washer and dryer in the basement (free of charge)

"Grandpa's Greenhouse"

The apartment once belonged to my grandfather and was renovated by us. Since he was a gardener, there is a great conservatory through which a wild vine climbs. From here you are in no time at all the important places when it comes to hiking, biking or winter sports. Bad Laasphe is a small town on the Rothaarsteig with a small but nice old town. There are hiking trails everywhere. Winterberg and Marburg are about 40 minutes away.

Our completely renovated and modernly furnished one-room apartment offers you everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a small space – perfect for couples, solo travelers or business travelers. The combined living and sleeping area is bright and friendly. Through the large wing door you have access to a small terrace where you can enjoy the sun overlooking the Upper Castle. 🏰

Vacation with the special extra in the tiny house

Here you can stay in an exceptional location. You have the opportunity to grill or have breakfast on the small terrace. The feeling of freedom and adventure, something very special. If desired, you will also get a yoga hour of a special kind, as a yoga hike in our beautiful nature. My wife is a trained yoga teacher.

Enjoy your life at this peaceful and yet centrally-located place. It can accommodate up to 4 people and is located on the 3rd floor. The conservatory or the beautiful terrace invite you to enjoy a wonderful View of the countryside. Pets are also sometimes my guests. Everyone is welcome here.

A romantic, large and detached house in the middle of nature. The house is perfect for large groups. It has a large common dining room and a large common room with a wood stove. There is central heating throughout the house. The house has a large terraced garden.

The Bison Hill enchants with its fantastic view of the steppe-like landscape. From the bed you can watch bison and buffalo. You have the opportunity to learn a lot about the animals and their way of life and to explore the great surroundings.
