Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge. I – Janine, a trained hotel manager – am particularly interested in bringing people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Rosehill Cottage 1699 | Hideaway, mountains & lake

Enjoy relaxing hours in the beautifully renovated half-timbered house from 1699. Inside, this jewel is stylishly furnished and technically well equipped. Nestled in the romantic Lahn-Dill mountains, it is an ideal starting point for hikes and picnics in the mountains. Cyclists and motorcyclists also feel right at home here. Marburg and Frankfurt are within easy reach and invite you to visit them, as well as the natural outdoor pool in town or the thermal baths in nearby Bad Endbach.

Cozy apartment since September 2017 in a very quietly located former farmhouse on the edge of the forest. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. However, if you want to switch off and are looking for relaxation, you have come to the right place. Certified by the DTV with 3 stars. If desired, the refrigerator (for a fee) can be filled. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

We offer you our non-smoking house, renovated in 2025, with 2 bedrooms with king-size beds, a high-quality fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining room with fireplace & TV, a guest toilet and a bathroom with a spacious shower. The washing machine can be used if needed. From the open conservatory, you have access to the beautiful garden that invites you to relax, enjoy and, if you like, have a barbecue party. We have bicycles that you can borrow for free.

Half-timbered house with loft bed

A small half-timbered house sleeps 4 - 5 people. On the first floor are the entrance area and the kitchen, upstairs the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room. The bedroom has a double bed, 180 cm. In addition, there is a loft bed level for two people, 140 cm above the living room. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for 1 person. The ladder to the loft bed cannot be removed or locked. You should consider this if you want to travel with children.

Welcome to our cozy wooden house! Here you can escape the stress of everyday life. Our house can accommodate up to 4 people. The open living room with a fireplace and its complete glass front and the open kitchen creates an inviting atmosphere in which you will immediately feel comfortable. The location is unique: You have a beautiful view of the countryside and access to a stream. As parents, we have equipped the house toddler-friendly.

Für 2-4 Personen (Person 3 & 4 Schlafsofa) am Rande von Winterberg. Für 2 Personen perfekt, mit 4 Personen ist es eng. Ein Hund kostet 20 Euro pro Aufenthalt und muss mit der Kurtaxe vor Ort bezahlt werden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inklusive.

Thanks to the high-quality amenities and some extras such as infrared cabin, wood-burning stove, sauna with outdoor shower, large terrace overlooking the forest and much more, our vacation home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
