A casa superou as nossas expectativas, é maior do que parece e bastante confortável. A anfitriã foi bastante simpática e prestável.

Amazing hide-away in Avis! We stayed for only one night and instantly regretted we did not book this place for longer. José’s place has a beautiful garden, little kitchen with some breakfast options but mostly a very stylish cave-like room, with beautiful furniture and a cozy yet chique ambiance. Lucia took great take of us and we slept like babies. Would come back anytime!!

Adoramos a estadia. A Casa é muito acolhedora, confortável, com muito espaço e muito bem pensada e decorada. Zona muito calma mas muito proxima de ótimos restaurantes de Estremoz e arredores. Adoramos a nossa estadia de 4 dias para descansar em família e no final ficamos apenas com a sensação que devíamos ter ficado mais tempo. A Marta foi super prestável e atenciosa. A repetir sem dúvida.

A casa é muito espaçosa, bem equipada, ótima para famílias numerosas, tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia agradável e longa. O espaço exterior é excelente, com estacionamento e a localização é ótima, numa localidade calma e simpática.

Tivemos uma óptima estadia em família no Monte da Memória. O monte foi remodelado recentemente, é muito bonito e tem uma vista incrível sobre a barragem e Avis. A Maria do Carmo é uma anfitriã super simpática e prestável. Um local perfeito para descansar e aproveitar os mil encantos do Alentejo!

Relaxed atmosphere and a very warm welcome from Patricia and Leo, always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay a pleasant experience. A great finding, close to Avis town, in an idyllic landscape. Prepare your camera for the stunning sunset!

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience. The check-in procedure was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the very friendly and efficient staff. The apartment is well equipped, catering to both short and long-term stays, although it only has a microwave for heating up food, making it more suitable for those who prefer dining out. The location is excellent, being very close to the city centre yet situated in a quiet area. While parking is possible, it’s advisable to use the central parking area as the streets are quite narrow. Although the apartment is not fully soundproof, I found the neighbours above to be quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Great location, convenient and comfortable

Ficámos na “muralha”. É uma casa pequena mas espetacular, dentro de uma das zona mais pacatas e recatadas do castelo. Tem um pátio murado, o que para nós era uma mais valia já que levávamos também o nosso patudo. Aliás, ALs que aceitam animais são sempre de parabenizar pois pecam pela escassez. A casa fica numa zona onde é complicado ir de carro (apesar de ser possível mas as ruas são demasiado estreitas) e o Sr Luís foi muito prestável a levar-nos (a nós, às malas e ao nosso cão) até à casa no check in, o que foi uma grande ajuda. Mesmo assim o acesso à pé é rápido. Recomendamos.

James en zijn vrouw hebben een prachtig verblijf omringd door natuur. We hebben ons hier goed kunnen vermaken. We zijn hier met open armen ontvangen en hun gastvrijheid is er een die we nog nooit eerder bij een andere airbnb hebben ervaren. We zouden dit verblijf aan iedereen aanraden die opzoek is naar een fijn, rustig en mooi verblijf in Portugal. In de omgeving zijn verschillende interessante dorpjes en historische plaatsen als Marvão en Évora zijn goed bereikbaar voor een dagtrip. Het was een echte topervaring en zeker het boeken waard!

Hi guys:) The house is located in the privacy of the countryside, amidst nature. The nature around is really beautiful. We liked everything in the house.

I just loved staying at Casa Verde. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a very scenic location. From the front windows you can see the castle, and from the back roof patio you can see in the other direction, out to the rest of the village and surrounding countryside. Parking on the street in front of the property was easy. You can walk up to the castle and it is an excellent way to spend a quiet morning. It is a short drive to Estremoz for plenty of choices in grocery shopping, and we enjoyed many day trips to the surrounding historic towns and villages. All in all, a wonderful base for exploring this region that is so full of interesting history. Cannot recommend this enough!
