The former barn is originally converted into a holiday home of a special kind, 144 m² on two levels. Surrounded by 2 ha of meadow, 1 ha of forest, a place for retreat, for family holidays, for "Simply Being in Hollenstein." Swimming, tennis, cycling (Ybbstag cycle path right outside the door), hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing right by the house if the snow allows! 3 km from the center of Hollenstein, very good infrastructure.

We turned an old stable into an apartment. We tried to preserve the atmosphere of the place. The flat is located in the courtyard of a renovated old farm where we are living ourselves (parents and 2 children). The area is called the Wagram, 3 km away from the Danube and around 50 km away from the center of Vienna. Animals are also part of the family; one cat and a chicken with whom you are welcome to interact. However, they are not allowed in the flat :-)

It was nice again with Susanne on the farm, for the third time again. The cozy cottage has stunning views of Hochosterwitz Castle. There is a large lawn in front of the door with small swimming pond and children's playground. Quiet, friendly and rustic, we'll probably come back.

Our vacation was just great! The house was beautiful, well equipped and in a very nice location. The service was first-class – always friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Special thanks and greetings to Katharina's parents. The communal barbecue was a nice communal exchange. Without asking, we received an extra room due to our group size. Thus, everyone had their own bed and some privacy. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of. The combination of comfort, service and the beautiful surroundings made this vacation a very nice experience. A clear recommendation, also as a group!

Nature hideaway: Studio apartment with a view

We were in the Nutshell for an extended weekend and it was really good for us! From the beginning, we felt super comfortable and welcome! We were even prepared for a small welcome package of homemade pumpkin seed oil, apples, and chocolate. The best surprise was that we were able to move into the adjoining bedroom because no one booked the place next door. We were incredibly pleased :) The place is really nice, you can tell how much love and energy has been put into the decor! Everything very well thought out. Especially the light for a pleasant evening vibe We would highly recommend the recreation cottage and especially the Nutshell and will definitely visit again, maybe even with a larger group :) Thank you so much for a relaxing weekend! :)

- very cozy and quiet accommodation surrounded by nature - Samy is very hospitable and helpful - highly recommended if you want to relax in the countryside for a few days - beautiful cycling tours in the area are very possible - It takes about half an hour by car to get to Graz and the Zotter chocolate factory

We were able to spend a long weekend in the house as a large group (10 people) and were all thrilled. The house impresses with its generous amenities and has thus more than exceeded our expectations. Both inside and outside there is a lot to discover, you can tell it was planned with a lot of love for detail. The somewhat remote location is perfect for a relaxing weekend, but there is also a diverse range of leisure activities nearby. In case of bad weather, the in-house spa area ensures relaxation. We were particularly impressed by the large kitchen-living area, which is perfect for cooking, movie and game evenings together. The hosts are characterized by their kindness and helpfulness. All in all, we can say that we had a really great time there and would like to come back at the next opportunity.

Everything was great. A slightly later check-out was also no problem. Outside, great view of the mountains.
