Wow! This was the perfect start to our holiday - luxurious and tranquil. Very much a little piece of paradise. W&J’s principal host, Iliuh, was simply marvellous from providing breakfast through to recommendations. Our driver, Agus, who W&J recommended was equally amazing - a font of knowledge, friendly and utterly accommodating. Things we would mention to friends: - it is remote: there isn’t an abundance of restaurant options. - before you arrive on your first day plan ahead for first dinner: book dinner at the beach house, book a driver to the local areas or stop at a supermarket for provisions. - walking to Balian Beach village is either a 500m walk on the beach subject to tides or a 40 min walk on the roads, or a 10 min drive. In summary, we would not hesitate in booking the beach house again, and we’d probably rent a scooter if only to get ourselves to the village for lunches and dinners.

This place was AMAZING! Everything was perfect. Like a fairytale. Don’t hesitate to book it! Also, the beds were super comfortable. All the amenities were more wonderful than listed. They arranged a breakfast and dinner for us! It was delicious! We would’ve loved to have every meal there.

Wow! Where do I even begin to describe my experience in such a beautiful sanctuary with lovely hosts and staff?! Lucas and Rossina's home is like nothing I've ever experienced. The minute you walk in to the villa, you are in awe of how beautiful the architecture and lay out of the home is. It's absolutely stunning like out of a magazine! It's an extremely clean villa, the kitchen is equipped with all the amenities that you need. It's a quite and peaceful villa but also steps away from a great street with restaurants and nice shops. The hosts provided a wonderful nanny to take care of my 7 month old, so I could go surf early in the mornings. The staff that cleans the home are the sweetest souls that we all cried when we left, full of hugs and gratitude. I have to say this is one of the best places I've ever stayed in (globally). I will definitely return. They are amazing hosts and if I could I would give this place a 10 star rating! Thank you

We had a lovely stay. The villa isn’t flashy, but it feels warm, welcoming, and very much like a home. The beachfront setting is peaceful, the garden and pool are beautifully maintained, and the staff are discreet and kind. A special thank you to Ketut, who cooked, did laundry, and cleaned with such care and energy – she truly made our stay special. Arya, the gardener, was also incredibly sweet and always greeted us with a smile. Our contact person, Dini, was extremely helpful and quick to respond. The villa is quite remote, so remember to bring an international driving permit if you plan to use a scooter (they can help arrange one for you) – otherwise, it’s easy to hire a private driver. We especially loved watching distant lightning over the ocean in the evenings and seeing the bats fly out at sunset. We’d happily return!

We booked the El Dorado Villa as part of our first stop for a 2 week trip in Bali. We stayed here for 4 nights. Ester was our contact and was incredibly responsive. She even allowed us to check in early and drop our bags off. The property is located down a small road which can fit a car down. It’s next door to the ‘Astaga Flats’. Nearby are great breakfast choices we went to ‘Rise and Shine’ every morning. You also have ‘Copenhagen cafe’ on the corner. The property itself is just amazing. It was incredibly clean and so spacious. It was just the two of us and we really enjoyed the odd afternoon by the pool. There is a kitchen area but we didn’t use it but had all the amenities if you were staying there long term and looking to not eat out although the places on the doorstep for food are so cheap. Easy pick up and drop offs for grab taxis and mopeds. Would highly recommend staying here. Great value and great amenities. Special mention to Ester who was always responsive and helpful!

One word sums it up - beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful villa we had the pleasure of spending 5 nights in. The Villa itself is huge with high ceilings and plenty of space. The outdoor bath and shower are incredible . The grounds of the property including the lawn and ponds are just stunning. The views from the bedroom upstairs were magical. A real piece of heaven. The villa is a little out of the Centre of UBUD which was perfect for us. Highlights were the Putri Spa and Fuzion restaurant in the area. Highly recommend. Wayan and his staff were excellent and very nice to deal with. Everything was exactly as the description described and we can’t wait to go back again one day. Thank you Wayan & Kadek.

We spent 3 wonderful days in Villa Utamaro to end our 15-day vacation and put the icing on the cake of our stay in Lombok. The house is a DREAM!!! The attention from the entire team and the cleaning service guys are super nice and ALWAYS with a SMILE!! 100% recommended!!!! The house is spacious, open and connected with the views and the setting, nature... A 10!!

Enough of indoor games n books :-) for a peaceful read, sitting with birds in the balcony overlooking the town, the cloud clad hills. would love to visit in spring /summer again. thank you, Phil.

Beautiful villa in a wonderful private location with amazing views to Airlie Beach & the Whitsundays. Surrounded by beautiful gardens & birdlife, it’s a haven for staying close to Airlie Beach in a private setting.

Federico, Dave and Chris have the best place to stay in the southern highlands if you want a peaceful, idyllic and private stay. My partner and I had the best gateway which was made even better that we could bring our dog and the area was secure for him to roam around. This place is so perfect, all the little details and well thought out! Do yourself a favour if you need to get out of the city and looking for somewhere peaceful and private this is just the spot don’t hesitate to book it! We didn’t want to leave and I am sure you will feel the same.

An absolutely amazing villa with excellent staff. My family had a wonderful time spending hours in the pool and eating fresh meals cooked for us in the kitchen. It’s a very quiet location, you can hear the bird and bug life. We booked a driver to visit nearby waterfalls, monastery, and hot springs. Things to be aware of, but shouldn’t stop you from booking this great villa: 1. There is a path at the beachfront that is public, it’s not busy, but locals do walk past. 2. There is no beach in front of the villa - the sea comes up to the break wall. 3. The playground is no longer functional.

Had a wonderful stay! Thomas was very proactive and responsive, the view was incredible and the inside was clean and the perfect temperature. I definitely recommend staying here for Holiday, I hope to do so again!

Beautiful place. Responsive host and security that was there all the time , felt very safe! Incredible views and nice rooms too. Nice that there are cleaners everyday. Sadly when we got there it was a little unclean in some bathrooms. Also shower water didn’t work sometime. However, was still an incredible stay and would recommend again! Everyone loved it!!

Amazing villa and amazing staff at the villa. The pool is stunning and incredible—its size compares to that of a full hotel pool, it’s unbelievable. The downside of the villa: I really wished there was air conditioning in the living room.

Villa Nalua is an amazing accomodation. The design of the villa is really unique and beautiful. The host is very friendly and helpful and we could check-in very easily even after midnight. I can totally recommend this place to anyone. Pretty sure to stay here again in the future. Thanks for the hospitality!
