This two bed house in our charming country town has a south-west facing garden and is a 10 minute walk to the town centre, and a 15-20 min walk to Audley End. Children friendly house, great walks around and parks in the town. A short drive (30 min) or train (15 min) to Cambridge and close to London (nearest train station Audley End). Great for travelling business professionals, a weekend away, visiting family, and tourists!

Well, what can I say. An absolutely delightful place to stay. Everything you could possibly need, and a little bit more... A very well stocked kitchen if you want to cook . Comfortable bed , excellent storage. Also a lovely outside space to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Hubby managed to catch a few photos of a hawk flying overhead. Would definitely recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a lovely peaceful 4 nights in this charmingly quirky self catering bedsit flat. Jessica was extremely helpful in sorting out a few minor problems caused by previous guests and we recommend Deynes House to anyone who doesn’t mind the unusual. Don’t be put off by the ancient plasterwork in the entrance stairwell, the flat itself is clean, tidy and well decorated. We ate in all the best pubs in the area and The Plough in the village was the best of all, the food was superb! Enjoy your stay, Peter & Vicki 😊

The Rookery was like a home from home; I felt at home there, helped by being a really well equipped but cosy place. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well provisioned and the courtyard a really peaceful place to relax. Will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Matt’s lovely apartment in the peaceful village of Duxford, amazingly just minutes from the M11. Matt was quick to respond to our booking, providing clear & helpful information about the apartment & the surrounding area, including where to eat & recommendations of places to visit. He was also in touch a few more times before our arrival, including providing the entry codes, & again after we left. The bottle of Prosecco & selection of biscuits was a lovely welcome surprise, & the food in the 2 local pubs Matt recommended, both within a few minutes walk, was delicious. (We ate in the John Barleycorn twice in 4 days!) We also had a superb brunch in Cafe19 at the Duxford Community Centre… a fantastic facility. We would certainly recommend this apartment & would happily stay here again if back in the area.

Absolutely fabulous stay, such stunning surroundings, Judith and family were accommodating, helpful, non intrusive. Would definitely stay again if I need to stay in the same area. Accomodation was clean, clutter free, warm, quiet and when I mentioned I was vegan Judith put oat milk in the fridge. Thoughtfulness like this goes a long way. Thanks so much, made my weekend.
