The south facing cottage gives a light airy feel throughout and has a small outside space for drinks and dining.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Steading is a beautiful two-bedroom cottage with a sitting room/fully equipped kitchen log stove, in a tranquil setting surrounded by beautiful countryside, a short drive from Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas. Fully equipped with linen, crockery, cutlery, and a washer/dryer/dishwasher. Two wet rooms/bathrooms, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. We welcome 1-2well-behaved dogs, but they must be on a lead whenever outside.
