Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Atlantic Canada

The location was excellent. Very private and secluded. Very calm, quiet,relaxing vibe. Binder filled with local detailed suggestions, which we really appreciated. Since it was on the chilly side we started a fire in the fireplace which was a bit of a challenge. No firestarters or paper, and no kindling in the blue Rubbermaid, nor hatchet to be found, so we spent longer than I would have liked heating the place up. It was late,so didn't reach out. Really lovely hot tub and the view in the morning was beautiful!

This is a beautiful cabin on Hayden Lake with a rustic camp feel complete with modern amenities. We loved having the wood stove to warm up on the cool mornings. For those looking for a getaway in the wilds of Guysborough county, this is a great place to do it.

My only regret is not staying longer! My family loved this airbnb. It’s the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! Clean, beautiful view, comfy couch, super comfortable beds, a sauna, a massive collection of games/books/toys and even records and a record player plus so many more amenities. I could go on and on about everything we loved about this place. I would go out of my way to stay here again!!

Incredible and beautiful home, you will not regret it!

Spent 5 days for a siblings/partners get-together in March. The place was excellent for our needs. Lots of space for everyone, big bedrooms with comfy beds and very quiet between floors. The scenery was beautiful from with the spring thaw of the river underway. Nancy, our host, was very helpful and super responsive. We all said that we should come back in the summer or autumn to fully enjoy the property and surrounding area. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at Love Lane Little House! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. The hot tub was a perfect bonus! The house itself is incredibly cute and cozy, making it the perfect getaway spot. Kimberly was excellent—responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Tracey was very friendly and she texted me back promptly. I would recommend her apartments and I would definitely stay there again if I ever get a chance.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with my sister and her husband. The space was perfect for us all to fit. The spa tub was very relaxing after a long hike. We loved it! Clean and beautiful! The sunsets off the balcony were to die for. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had coffee and everything we needed. Kayla gave some good hike recommendations. Seaside restaurant is just a couple mins walk along the water and was delicious. Would def stay here again!

A wonderful victorian home renovated beautifully. The cafe downstairs is a lovely with delicious coffee and food options. Just minutes from the downtown core and all it has to offer. Additionally it's close to two amazing local breweries. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was very clean and modern, and the complimentary beers were a delicious bonus. Great location, walkable from everything downtown. And about 30 seconds away from the awesome Graystone brewery next door— but you would never know it given how quiet and private it was inside. Host was helpful and responsive when we had questions. 10/10 would stay here again!

An awesome place to relax and get away from it all. We were 4 people and it was the perfect size. I think it would be a tight squeeze with more than that. Place was clean and very welcoming. I wish we could have spent longer there in nice weather to enjoy all the amenities that it had to offer. Merci, Richard.

Absolutely gorgeous pristine property with a beautiful fire pit and seating area. Great little walking trail that surrounds the property and follows along a brook. The hosts had every light clearly labeled in the house for which was which this was great when your unfamiliar with the spot. The hosts had clear instructions posted on the door how to access the walking trail, how to start the BBQ, how to start the firepit. Although not beach weather during my stay the airbnb was equipped with beach chairs a cooler and beach toys and boogie boards for guest use and also was all Clearly labeled stating so. Bathroom had extra "if you forget" toiletries. Small coffee area fully stocked with small snacks and espresso machine with full stock of pods. Another great feature was the bedroom had a small rechargeable fan you could use as hand held or lay on your pillow if your a fan person I loved this. Definetly recommend this airbnb and the hosts 5*

On the Rocks is a peaceful, magical place. It is modern but cozy and extremely clean and well equipped. Jerky and Stew are responsive and friendly hosts. This was our second time here with plans to return in the future!

We stayed at Dean’s place for a family vacation. It was the perfect venue for our holiday and had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay memorable and amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a private spot on the island with beautiful surroundings and great amenities. The entire place was absolutely spotless and well maintained. Dean was an exceptional host and greeted us on the first day to show us around and answer any questions we had about the property. Spent a wonderful weekend with friends for a 60th birthday celebration. This place was amazingly beautiful, spacious, and appointed with many fine touches, from decor to fully equipped kitchen, to high quality beds and linens. We didn’t want for anything while here! We relaxed by the fire, indoors and out, played some lively games of pool in the top floor games rooms, and dined like royalty while gazing at Tancook Island peeking in and out of the fog. This was our second time staying at this location, and as mentioned in the many positive reviews, this place impresses on every level. The views from ever location are stunning, and the decor is perfect. If you are a birdwatcher this place is really magical. with binoculars or ideally a spotting scope you can observe nearby colonies of Murres, Puffins, Razorbills Kittiwakes and others right from the deck. The seas below the cliffs can have closer range views of these sea birds, and the skies above the more distant islands are literally full of birds at any time of the day.

Very responsive and accommodating hosts! Villa is as advertised, the property worked really well for us as we were with a wedding with multiple others staying at the resort. It’s a short drive to lots of beaches and restaurants.
