We had a lovely stay at Melanie's cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. (bottle of wine was a nice touch) Melanie was very responsive to our questions and responded right away. The cottage is on a busy street but is relatively quiet when you are on the beautiful front deck. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area.

Loved the stay! Very comfortable! Second time booking, once was bigger side and other was the smaller side and both were incredible! Never disappointed! Hot tub and view was incredible, always recommend staying there if you’re in the area!

Il y avait une panoplie de petits appareils de cuisine présents auquel je ne m'attendais pas du tout c'est impressionnant tout ce qui est à notre disposition. de plus notre hôte nous a dépanné avec un ingrédient qui nous manquait pour faire un de nos souper, quelle délicatesse. Je recommande grandement ce chalet. je le garde en note je retournerai certainement.

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is so beautifully landscaped by Bruce and Leesa. You can see the love and care they put into it. The inside was no exception. It felt warm and inviting. Leesa and Bruce are wonderful people. Very friendly and put us at ease right away. Really really nice couple. Don't think twice about booking this place. You will not be disappointed. We will be coming back and will book Leesa and Bruce's place without a question. Thanks for making us feel so welcomed.

We really enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect! 2 minute drive from our whale watching excursion. The cottage was clean, comfy and cozy. The hot tub was also very well maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. Great place to have a nice relaxing stay.

One of the very best places we’ve stayed. Erica’s place was charming and warm. The easiest check-in I’ve ever had, plenty of suggestions about things to do and places to eat nearby, and everything you could possibly need in the cabin. We loved everything about it and would choose this place again any time we got the chance. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This cabin is an absolute gem! It’s compact but spacious. It is tastefully decorated with a beach house theme. The lake is incredible, the views are breathtaking, kayaking was amazing and the dogs absolutely loved it. I didn’t see any eagles but had a spiked vest on my little eagle bait Shiz Tzu and we came home safely so all good. My cocker spaniel is pretty heavy so I figured he’d be safe! It is so private! The beach is beautiful. The cabin is literally the best stocked cabin I have ever seen and I’ve been to many! Can’t say enough about the sunsets! The hosts are responsive and lovely. I’d book this place again in a heartbeat! ❤️

Natasha's cabin is absolute gem. Cozy,clean,with rustic charm and fully equipped kitchenette. I stayed there with my 3 dogs and it was perfect for us. Grounds are so great and spacious.We had the best time taking multiple walks per day and playing fetch. I am already recommending this place to mty friends. Definitely book and enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at Plover Cottage and truly enjoyed the incredible views of Taunton Bay from the windows as well as the sitting areas on the property. Bar Harbor and ANP are about a 40 minute drive but a very nice one at that. Schoodic Peninsula is a closer ride and well worth the visit! The kitchen is well stocked and filled with other essentials that make for a wonderful stay to explore the beautiful coastal towns in the area. Thank you Jonathan for being a responsive host and offering us a wonderful place to experience Acadia National Park!

Great spot right on the lake! Very quiet and beautiful, it felt like we were the only ones on the lake. Perfect little camp to explore the area, it had everything we needed. The warm shower was perfect and much needed after primitive camping for a few days. The camper was super cozy, too. Would gladly visit again!

It was the perfect place to stay in Montague. Right next to the river and trails. Loved the privacy of it but the friendliness of Martina. She was great! If you are looking to stay somewhere, I would highly recommend Martina’s. Her dog Blossom was just the nicest and made us feel at home too!

We had a great stay at Rich and Julie's Beals cottage. The space looks exactly like the photos and had everything we needed. The design and decor were impressive and unique. The boat was a fun addition. One evening we enjoyed our Jonesport pizza and beer on the deck while watching the harbor. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast each morning. We enjoyed a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed and the shower was powerful and refreshing. Although it may seem there is not a lot to do in the area, Rich, the host, will prove that wrong. He has meticulously prepared 4 binders worth of itineraries and highlights of the area. We enjoyed the "Dock Walk" around Beals prepared by Rich. Seaduck Point was a great trail with the dogs. Rich was super supportive when a rainy day canceled our puffin cruise. Rich was ready with suggestions of things to do and extremely supportive. Don't miss The Milkhouse Cafe in Machias. Great coffee and pastries. Highly recommend the cottage.

Tucked in the woods of Orrington, Maine, this lakeside retreat offers a rare kind of stillness. Facing south on the water’s edge, it provides serene views of both sunrise and sunset that frame each day in quiet beauty. Wildlife is abundant, loons echo across the lake and deer move gently through the trees, yet the home is only a short drive from Bangor’s restaurants, trails, and conveniences. We initially booked for three nights but quickly extended to four. This place invites lingering. It’s easy to settle into the rhythm of the land, the lake, and the quiet. Inside, the home is curated with care including a lovely vinyl collection; late night jazz and morning classical set the perfect tone for slow coffee and reflection. The host was responsive and thoughtful throughout, making everything seamless. We will absolutely return and recommend this home to anyone seeking not just a place to stay, but a space to truly be.

Aloha All - Elaine's house was in a perfect spot for me to accomplish my sightseeing, hikes, and drives thoughout the Irish Loop. The views from her place are phenomenal. The quietness and the sounds of the ocean in her backyard were great. After coming back from several long hikes, Elaine's house is very relaxing to come back to. I would in a heartbeat come back to her house in the future. Mahalo nui loa, Paul

Valerie’s place was exactly as pictured. Beds were so comfy we checked to see what mattress she had lol! Lots of space for the 9 of us with 2 dogs and the kitchen had everything you could ever need. A few us were trying to find available times in the summer to come back! Pool wasn’t open yet but we did to enjoy the hottub. That sunroom…all I wanted was a big comfy chair in there and never have to leave. Great house for a fun family weekend!

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Great place to stay and a great price! Joelle is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. She is quick to respond and provide any help if needed during your stay. Nice quiet place out in the country. Peaceful and quiet. Just a short drive into town.

Stayed here for the second time, beautiful spot even in the dead of winter!

Magnifique séjour à Fredericton! Nous étions un groupe avec plusieurs groupes et un enfant, la maison est si grande que tout le monde y a trouvé son compte, même le bébé ! :) Super localisation, hôte très gentil!

It was so peaceful staying at this seaside sanctuary! The gardens were vibrant and the hot tub sitting amongst the gardens and next to the ocean was heaven on earth!

My husband and I, and our two pups had a fantastic time in the Carriage House for a week. Part of a breathtaking private/secret compound on the water…with the most incredible private tidal pool. The place is so authentic, which is what we love about staying in ME when we can escape. We were so blessed to find Margaret’s place last minute. Margaret’s mother, Sally, and her husband were in the main Kate’s house. So so sweet they were to us and our girls. A dog paradise. We are foodies. Plenty of good restaurants around - just a few minutes to the adorable village of Stonington. Around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the country - Aragosta. We can’t wait to return…hopefully, in the Fall. A trip we will always remember. Thank you, Margaret & Family.
