As the name suggests, it was once a factory where rope was made and accommodation will suit families, two couples, four friends etc. The property is located just down from the high street, which has multiple places to eat and drink, two local supermarkets for supplies, all within a 5 minute stroll. Cowbridge Cottage is the perfect home to home environment it is suitable for families, friends, work and business accommodation or for those just visiting Bedford with 4 bedrooms 1.5 bathrooms which can facilitate up to 8 people. Located within walking distance of many restaurants, retail outlets and a gym it is also a 5 minute drive from the town centre as well as having direct routes to Luton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and more via the A6, B530 and A421 which leads to the M1 junction 13.

Benslow Path Guest Studio - Free Parking

The studio is a bright and cosy, modern space which is a self-contained conversion on the side of our house with a private entrance and free parking just outside. The airbnb is a 12 minute walk from Hitchin Train Station. Perfect for London commuters, it is also ideal for couples or solo travellers, family visits, business travel etc. You can check-in from 4pm on Monday-Friday. Check-in time on Saturday and Sunday is at 2.30pm. Parking is free for your entire stay, 7 days a week.

Spacious, characterful and cosy barn conversion next door to our cottage in a lovely rural north Bedfordshire village. A large comfortable living room with log burner and a kitchen stocked with all the food essentials for breakfast including home made bread. The bedroom is spacious and there's a luxury shower room. Private access is via a side gate and separate private entrance. Lovely village pubs and a shop are a short stroll away and lots of other great places to eat are nearby

The Barn at the Old George and Dragon

The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.

When inside feel free to enjoy a relaxing night under the stars, ideal for a couple or solo travellers. The Secret Corner is the perfect base to explore local areas including Woburn, Wrest Park and a short ride away to Flitwick Train Station with direct access to London St Pancras in less than an hour.

Welcome to your cosy corner of the Bedfordshire countryside - a peaceful rural escape, yet minutes from the M1, Milton Keynes and major transport links. You'll have Highland Cows grazing in the field right behind you and a lake with swans and ducks in view across the grounds. And if you're a dog person, expect a warm welcome from Evie, our very friendly dog. It's the kind of place where you can hear the trees rustle and birdsong drift up from the lake.
