The Stables At Sprotts Farm

SueRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We were recommended Sprotts Farm by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. A great feel at home place to stay, set amongst the most beautiful wooded countryside. Everything was as described and we’ll certainly be back for a return visit 😊 Leo, our pampered pooch certainly enjoyed exploring the grounds and the woods were definitely a bonus. Perfect getaway to unwind and recharge.

We had a wedding close by and this AirBnb was a perfect find! Great value for money and perfect spot for a weekend getaway. This was our first trip with our puppy and Hannah made it all the more convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Guest house Paradiso

Lovely little annexe, absolutely perfect for what we wanted from a nights stay! The hosts were great answering questions, giving us all the necessary information and even providing extra filtered water for us to make our babies bottles. Plus the little breakfast selection was a lovely, unexpected added bonus! Would absolutely stay again if we're back in the area :)

Exclusive retreat on a private lake

TanyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful weekend getaway — the perfect spot to relax and reconnect. The location is ideal for a peaceful escape, and it truly felt like our own private retreat. Evenings were our favorite: unwinding by the fire with a glass of wine or playing cards out on the deck made for some really memorable moments. A definite highlight of the trip was visiting The Dog and The Pickle — highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! Whether you’re looking to switch off and slow down or simply enjoy quality time with someone special, this place is a gem. Highly recommended for couples looking for a quiet, cozy weekend away.

Cosy Corner of Historic Country House & Garden

SallyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The apartment was very private, located at the rear of the beautiful Fysh House. Tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Lovely big shower, comfy bed with crisp clean linen. We absolutely loved having sole use of the walled rose garden. So peaceful to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening sunshine, or shelter in the shade of the trees when it was hot! Easy to walk into Bures via the footpath almost opposite the house. Plenty of local walks should you desire. Sophy was a very friendly host with good knowledge of the local area. We can thoroughly recommend a stay at Fysh House. Plus you must visit Lavenham and Flatford Mill (Constable’s Haywain) during your stay.

Mill Cottage set in a 70 acre Nature Reserve

SeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A real super-host if ever there was one. This property is gorgeous and set within both public and private walks through woodland, farmland and along streams. The perfect place for a dog to run around and one of the best spots to capture local wildlife. We saw a river otter, a barn owl and ate lunch in the garden while watching ducklings learn to take off from the water. At night, we were warm in front of the lovely fire or amazed at the lovely stars viewable with so little light pollution. Would definitely stay again.
