Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Lincoln’s Loft is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit to downtown Vandalia. This loft offers a bedroom, full kitchen and bath, dining room, living room with a pull out sofa, and large smart TV. This loft also offers beautiful views of the oldest State Capitol in IL and is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and local shops. This country cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I 57 access, and public hunting land and within an hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes the use of kayaks, hammocks and a walking trail. Portable bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood available. Outdoor outlet and spigot. Children welcome!

The Walnut House

Thank you for checking out The Walnut House. It’s a roomy and comfortable 2 bed 1 bath house in the middle of town. Within walking distance are several restaurants, many local shops, two grocery stores - one with a great deli! The city park has a walking trail, shady picnic areas, a public pool, and tennis and paddleball courts will be completed soon. Come settle in and enjoy a quiet safe small town get-away!

Summersville Cottage

Located just on the outskirts of town, this roomy house will be perfect for a stay for a large family group, or book it for a few weeks while you work in Mt Vernon! Just freshly painted and updated and filled with comfy furniture to give you a great "home-away-from-home". The back deck is spacious enough for dining and grilling.
