Rebecca and Pete are absolute amazing hosts. The house is perfect with everything you need, lots of private outdoor area, huge deck and a hot tub. Very kid friendly with a sandpit, trampoline and toys. We felt like home!

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

I would highly recommend staying at Chas’s beautiful place if you are looking for somewhere beautiful & relaxing to get away from the rat race. The spectacular views were amazing

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at James's place and it was equally as good as the 1st time. For us Racing at Levels was magic, just being down the road. We were able to relax within a few minutes of the track. Plenty of room for a big Race Trailer. James a very responsive host and very helpful with early check in and being able to leave the trailer for an extra couple of hours after checkout. If James will have us & the house is free we will definately be staying again

Sharon is an incredible host. She made us feel like apart of her family. The home was warm, spacious and equipt with everything we might need as a large family. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are prestine, and there is plenty of space inside and out. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time, and when we are back in Rolleston we will be booking again. We loved our stay at Kakahu lodge. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here, this time it was a work retreat. We made use of the pool, outdoor dining and pizza oven, kitchen with everything you can think of (two dishwashers was so handy), and the open fireplace. Large spaces were perfect for a group and the linen and beds were comfy and high quality. Richard is so helpful and lovely too even ensuring we had plenty of kindling for the pizza oven 😊

This place is 5 star! The house is very comfortable with recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, and is fully equiped - down to coffee pods for the coffee machine. Reverse cycle A/C (aka 'heat pump') means that the house was easily kept comfortably warm. Wood and kindling are provided for the fireplace. Off street parking is secure (behind an automatic gate). We didn't use the barbeque, the outdoor dining area, spa pool, gym equipment in the garage, or the skateboard ramp.

Lovely place to stay. Small but space used well. Not to far from Ashburton. Shame beach was not accessible but we knew that before booking. Great area outside for the dog. Only real downside was the weather. It did not play ball much at all. Overall we had a great relaxing time.

Absolutely amazing house! Perfect for families and friends to stay together! Unfortunately the lake is currently unable to be used due to Toxic levels of Algae . But that didn't stop us from using the lakeside Spa, and enjoying the stunning view!

What a hidden gem this property is! We immediately felt right at home. Beautifully appointed with all listed amenities. The beds were so comfortable and everything was super clean and tidy. Lovely and quiet and the surrounding garden is beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended.

Great property. Well appoints and immaculately clean. Everything you need for your stay. Quite street but only a short drive or walk to north end of Ashburton. Supermarket and a few shops a 5 minute walk round the corner.

A very warm, private, and immaculate place. Set back from the road with great privacy and beautifully maintained throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, the smart TVs are a bonus, and the bathroom is modern with a good shower. Very responsive and welcoming host. Highly recommended!

Tracy’s home was the perfect getaway for our family. The house is not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable. Traveling with two infants, we had a few extra needs, and Tracy went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Communication was clear, quick, and helpful throughout our stay. We’d happily return in a heartbeat!

the house was great. we had 4 couples and school kids with mountain bikes. the garage was great. the games room was used each day. the gardens were very well maintained and the house well presented. easy walk to town. the living rooms and kitchens were roomy and well stocked would defintely recommend this for larger groups ideal!

What a diamond! I had to tear myself away from this beautiful, sunny, warm, private, and very comfortable home, with views to die for, all the mod cons, and the spectacular Coastal Walkway right on the doorstep. A week was hardly enough to make the most of this idyllic getaway spot. Thank you, Kelsey! I'll be back.

Awesome, and quiet, location in Methven with an easy walk to the hot pools and main town centre. Modern house with an electric door lock which was super handy. Great house for entertaining with an awesome outdoor patio areas to enjoy in summer months. Loved the added bonus of the home being pet friendly and being able to bring our dog with us. Super responsive and helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again for another weekend in Methven.
