Vacation rentals with a patio in Ashbourne

Right from the start Craig was very pro-active in messaging and ensuring I was comfortable about where I was going and how to access it. The location is remarkable as it's within a few minute's walk of Nottingham city centre and yet it feels like a quiet suburb - all I could hear most of the time was birdsong. The downside is that being city centre you have to navigate city-centre traffic to reach it if driving but given it's proximity to the railway station that may not be an issue. The onsite parking with the parking permit was a real advantage. The apartment itself is exactly as described and is very homely. Craig has provided a number of 'extras' that are unusual in a property like this such as Sky TV and a coffee machine and it felt generous. All in all I'd very happily recommend Craig's place to anyone who wanted easy access to Nottingham city centre but also wants peace and quiet.

Great find, accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Really quirky, clean property, and welcome crumpets for breakfast, Thank you Kirsty! Just be aware, there is quite a steep hill to climb to get to the properly if you walk into Matlock. This was fine for us, but could be an issue for some. Great pubs and pizza take away right across the street. We will definitely reccommend.

Just had an amazing three night stay in The Loft. Easy check in with great communication. Place was spotless and so peaceful. Walks right from the doorstep which was perfect for us and the Manifold Inn an easy 20min walk on quiet country lane. Food was delicious. Highly recommend a stay here and would love to return. Keep up the good work. :)

Wonderful loft conversion right in the centre of Melbourne. Easy to access. Clean. Clever use of the space. All the appliances you'd need. Karen was a great host. Always just a message away when needed. Thanks for having us!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped. The beds and sofa's were very comfortable and Phillip was a lovely host. The location was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Stunning accommodation right in the heart of Ashbourne, perfect for exploring the Peak District or chilling in one of the many local pubs and restaurants I will definitely recommend!

What can I say? Lesley (and Simon) is the perfect host! She's an absolutely lovely person who I couldn't have better things to say about. The arrival instructions were clear and helpful, the location is nice and peaceful. The accomodation is exactly as it looks and is as described. Lesley and her accomodation were both so great that I booked the second week of my stay here, too. She couldn't do more to be a better host. Incredibly kind and friendly. It's a shame I can't take her back home and keep her and Simon as my new neighbours. Plus, added bonus - Gertie the Sausage dog may be seen if you're extra lucky. I will absolutely be booking this place again every time I'm working on/around the area. Thanks for everything!

Had a great stay at Anuj’s with our little family. There’s an Aldi and very family friendly pub just walking distance. The house was very comfortable and bright, and had a spacious kitchen. The amenities were great!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, very clean and comfortable cottage. It was very modern, well equipped and felt very homely. Ash's communication was exceptional from the get go, providing us with all the information we needed. We cooked 2 meals there and went to the pub next door for our 3rd meal, where the staff were very friendly and the food was of a good standard. After a short drive, we were able to go on some amazing walks in the region. The countryside is quite spectacular and we were pleasantly surprised not to be charged for parking anywhere we went. Next time we go back we will definitely go to the peak of the 'Cheshire Matterhorn' (Shutlingsloe).

This place is stunning, the kitchen is the most equipped I’ve seen, the bed was super comfy, the area is so peaceful and lovely. What was really special was the special touches, notes/tips with various applications etc right where you need them not just in the manual. Marylise was very responsive with queries and was an excellent host. I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect stay. Great price for what we got. Walkable to Ashborne high street. We staid here for a few days, went to alton towers for 2 and also did a day out in the Peak District. Lots of toys for the kids, some nice treats left for us including fresh milk etc. very nice. Parking fine outside on the road, got opposite every day. Would defo stay again :)

Booked for an over night stay for Alton Towers, ideal location not even 10 minutes drive! The house was very clean and the 2 bedrooms were big enough for our travel cot. Beds were comfy too. Amazing views from the back garden, lovely outdoor seating area. There’s a Londis just down the street and also a couple of pubs, both serve food and the white hart has a play area in the garden for toddlers. Would I stay again, absolutely.

We have stayed at their coal shed accommodation and it was fabulous. Oddfellows did not disappoint. Great location and cottage just beautiful. We will be back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay xx

Lovely cottage in a lovely location with views across the Peak District. Close and within walking distance to Bakewell. Couldn’t recommend it more.

This cottage stay was a dream! We loved walking around the village and eating at the local pubs and cafe. We also made use of the kitchen to prepare meals and loved eating in the garden. The beds are very comfortable, the entire space all together cozy. The village is about a 25-30 minute walk into Bakewell and a 10 minute drive to Chatsworth house. Highly recommended booking here!

An absolute gem! Highly recommend. We were a party of 2 families (2 adults and 4 kids, ages 13-17). This accommodation was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious, clean, a great location and even better than the photos. A well equipped kitchen, lots of board games to keep us entertained in the evening, and lots of bathrooms. Kiran is a great host. Very responsive and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Jermaine has a beautiful apartment which was spotlessly clean, super comfy beds, bathroom with a fantastic shower and the kitchen had everything you could need. Out and about there are some great bars and restaurants with a vibrant atmosphere, and as we were at Bramall Lane for a gig this is within a 30 minute walk. There is also private parking which is an added bonus. Jermaine was a fantastic host with great communication and was available if required - though we didn't need to contact him. Cannot recommend highly enough Jermaine's apartment.

This is a beautiful and perfectly laid out annexe apartment. Super clean and decorated/fitted to a high standard. Loved the extras such as the coffee machine and pods, and a very kind welcome treat! Paul and Rosie are quick to respond and both have a friendly manner. The annexe is attached to the family home, but I did not hear a thing from anyone else once inside. It was very helpful to have a car space provided on the driveway. Thank you for great hosting.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was clean, cosy and very nicely furnished. Great location in Leek with easy on-street parking and great access to the peaks! Sarah and Nick were lovely hosts - we greatly appreciated the welcome note and supplies!
