Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.

This small, romantic and charming farmhouse (self-sustaining house) has been renovated with simple means so that the original character is still preserved and noticeable. On a landscaped garden terrace or the surrounding meadow you can relax comfortably and end the day at sunset. An oversupply of hi-tech and supposed comfort is deliberately dispensed with. The rooms are equipped with the essentials but lovingly.
