It is located about an hour's drive from Bergen city center. In the immediate vicinity you will find many great hiking areas, with Kvistefjellet in the immediate vicinity. It is a short distance to Kviste - and Bogakaien, with opportunities to rent a berth. Bognestraumen is well known for its good fishing conditions. We also have BUA in the city center, where you can rent leisure equipment and canoe.

Sofiahuset has been in our family since 1908. It is now renovated and has all the comfort of a modern home as well as charm from the past. Conveniently close to the E16 road between Voss and Bergen. Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

Parking space in the basement, and it is only 2-3 minutes to walk to Horisont, Åsane Arena, Åsane Kulturhus etc. Good bus connections nearby to Bergen city center. The bus goes directly to Bergen city center, every 10-20 min. Stops at Åsane terminal. Free parking in the street, and paid parking right outside the block. Also possibility for charging in the parking lot.

Playground right outside the house, and bakery and grocery store 2 minutes away.

Adorable place for 3-5 travelers. 50m to fjord

Charming and comfortable place to overnight or stay. 1 sleeping corner with 120x200 cm bed and sleeping sofa in living room. There are beautiful nature around here, fjord and mountain view, beach with little boat, sauna and grill on the terrace. 35 minutes to Bergen and lot of hiking possibilities near by. We love pets and we have 2 3 little dogs.
