Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Åsane

We were allowed to enjoy 1 dream week in Turid's house with our group. The location can't be beat. Private jetty with 2 beautiful, fast boats. The best conditions for fish lovers. There are many areas for pollock, ling and haddock. We were able to prepare the fish right by the sea in the sun at the filleting station. Gigantic. Turid even called us to tell us that orcas were swimming in our fjord. We were able to observe them very closely. 🙏🏻We are simply grateful for this time.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed this beautiful place. Even though its part of a bigger (beautiful!) house because it is across 2 floors the apartment feels spacious. It's very beautifully decorated and feels cosy and warm. The views across the fjord are incredible and seem to change every time you look out of the window. Aleksander and Johanne were responsive, friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant opposite is fantastic too. The only thing we missed was a comfy chair or sofa - and slippers for our little girl to wear on the wooden floor whilst she was rushing around at speed (bit slippy/splintery in a couple of places). I'm sure this wouldn't affect adults or older kids though! She LOVED the bath and bathroom! The outdoor deck area is lovely, despite a lot of rain during our stay we made use of it. There's a rowing boat you can borrow and sauna to hire too - we didn't as our daughter a bit young but would be great fun! A great place to stay in a beautiful part of Norway!

We loved our stay here; you absolutely can’t beat the view and it’s super peaceful. The bathrooms in particular are really nice and were very clean! There is only one true shower as the master bath is a giant tub with a handheld sprayer but no curtain or hook for the handheld sprayer, but still very manageable and the other full bath has a stand up shower. We did not have a vehicle, but the host provided instructions with pictures for us to get to the house; we managed just fine with the 92 bus and train connection into Bergen. Be warned that the transit doesn’t run 24/7 though, so we had to schedule a taxi for an early morning airport departure. We would absolutely stay again; thanks for a great visit!

A beautiful and quaint home with a lot of room. Lovely view, very nice neighborhood and a short walk to everything. Pia was a fantastic host.

Arve is a real craftsman who has restored this beautiful old home. Located it the top of a hill and end of a road, it was very quiet and peaceful. Park at the foot.ferry and take it to Bergen. Arve is friendly and helpful, a very good host.

Hosts Kenneth and Janette were exceptional, always responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. This gem of a property has been a standout highlight of our European tour, leaving us with unforgettable memories. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful home with an unbelievable view of Bergen. A perfect place to stay. I’d give it more than five stars if possible. Quiet, comfortable, stylish, everything we could have hoped for. Cannot recommend highly enough. Added bonus: Alaska the cat was a family favorite for snuggles and general good vibes.

This is an idyll - both the house and the surroundings are very nice! The host is nice and we felt very welcome. It was completely clean throughout the house, good beds, and the house was otherwise well equipped with everything you need for a nice stay. We stayed in the house for a weekend (two adults and our three-year-old son). There were nice games and books, and the outdoor area was very nice for the three-year-old. We can highly recommend this house, and of course we want to come back :)

Had a great stay in the apartment. Location is as good as it gets. We walked to everything. The apartment is spacious and felt very clean. All the conveniences you can ask for is in the place. We didn't lack for anything. I would gladly return.

We stayed five nights in Svein's apartment. The apartment has everything you need and is located 2 minutes from the bus station. You need about 20 minutes to get into Bergen city. The communication was excellent and very pleasant. Svein is an open and very kind person who’s great to talk to and always happy to share helpful tips. His wife even drove us to the starting point of our hike once – incredibly kind. 😊 I can highly recommend this accommodation – we had a great time. Thank you to Svein and his wife! :)

Marius's place is located in a charming neighborhood, within walking distance to the city center, great restaurants, and the fish market. The communication was easy and smooth throughout our stay. I can definitely recommend it!

The apartment was in a great location close to everything with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It was spotless, very spacious with lots of storage and it was well equipped and not far from the main tourist sights and rail station. We would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Very cozy home! After a long overnight trip with the ferry, we arrived in Bergen and were pleased with the clean and spacious apartment with very comfortable beds. The communication was easy, quick and very friendly. Getting into town is a 45 min walk or a 20 min bus ride. Thank you for welcoming us!

We enjoyed our stay! The apartment was in easy walking distance to many of Bergen’s attractions and we liked having a view of the city. The apartment was quite private for being in the middle of the city. There was some noise heard from tenants in the apartment above, but mostly just footsteps; nothing bothersome.

Even better than described! Also, the view is just stunning. We were obsessed with this place and everything was great!

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

We spent 10 days with Linda. The house is very lovingly furnished with everything you need to feel comfortable. Linda was always promptly available and friendly. We absolutely recommend Linda's house!

This house was an absolute dream for a family with young kids! The location is fantastic, the kids amenities cannot be beat! The rooms upstairs are perfect for kids but were challenging for adults with the slanted ceilings (also we have some neck/back injuries and the beds upstairs aren’t the most comfortable). Parts of the house, and amenities (bikes) are well used and in need of replacing but would still highly recommend this place! Linda was incredibly responsive and helpful the duration of the stay. My family had the most incredible trip!

We had a very nice stay at Hilde's house. The location right on the fjord is very nice. The house was absolutely big enough for us with 10 people. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The boat, which can be rented in addition, is simple but in very good condition and has a 20 hp motor. As an angler, I can say: The fjord is an absolutely excellent body of water for mackerel and saithe. Hilde also gave us great tips for excursions. Thank you!

Peaceful location with a beautiful view of Bergen. Feels cozy and private, yet still provides quick access to the city. Cozy living area and heated floors in the bathrooms made us not want to leave!

We had a fantastic stay in Ivar’s home! A lovely home with spectacular views across the lake. There is a regular bus into Bergen and lots to do in this beautiful city.
