CloudPointe Retreat

KevinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This place was awesome the views are incredible and the privacy was like nowhere else. As long as you have 4wd and don’t mind some steps this is a perfect place for couples. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Kevin was even proactive in letting us know the power had went out before we got there and then immediately let us know it was back on. This place really is a hidden gem and you are within 15-30 minutes of restaurants and shopping. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Orso Blu one-of-a-kind VIEWS in Crozet

JamesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains with peaceful views from the front porch that include a field of lavender and a stream. A forested trail network can be accessed at the far end of the lavender field--so bring your hiking shoes. The house is stunning with clean lines, "european" design and decor that includes high-end appliances and fixtures. Francesca is the ultimate host-very friendly and helpful. She provided all the information and details on the house that you would need for an easy check-in, stay, and check-out. From my initial conversations with her when I booked the house to helpful messages just before and during our stay, I felt like I was staying at the house of an old friend. We look forward to staying at Orso Blu on a future trip!

Riverview Cabin on the James

GabrielleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an absolutely incredible stay. We booked the cabin for a full week with our dogs. Our ideal was to visit a place that was peaceful and surrounded by nature where our dogs could explore without worrying about running into other people or pets. This stay exceeded our expectations. As far as I could tell, the next closest people were over a mile away. The view was spectacular, along with nightly sunsets over the river that can be enjoyed from the hot tub or rocking chairs on the porch. We enjoyed the wildlife, the walkablity of the property, the seclusion, the river access - amazing, peaceful. Inside was also very comfortable. We made use of the kitchen and the grill, the TVs, and the comfortable beds. We cannot wait to visit again!

Cozy Farm Cottage near Farmville Virginia

StoneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
It is a very rustic, pastoral location which is what I am used to being from Virginia and so I loved it. Very private clean and very remote while being a short drive to a lovely Amish grocery and service stations. If you are looking to really have private, quiet countryside experience this is a great spot. Close to Dillwyn and Historic Appomattox.

Country getaway

DeronRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic home! Everything was very clean and we had the necessary items to prepare meals. We slept well in the comfortable beds. We enjoyed the back porch and walking the grounds - we only wished we would have had more time to relax and enjoy the quietness. This home was within an hour’s drive to Monticello and Liberty University.

Pet-Friendly Romantic Cottage on Working Farm

SarahRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We ended up checking in at night, we met Diana’s BIL at the main house and he drove us across the farm to the Writer’s retreat. He was super helpful with local suggestions for food and activities. The house is very private so we were glad we brought groceries to cook. The kitchen was very well stocked. Towels were great quality, good quality toilet paper too. The grounds are beautiful, our pup had a great time running around and walking to the pond. The bed was very comfortable, lots of pillows. Overall just very peaceful and serene. The sink/shower water did have a sulfur smell but we always travel with water bottles so that wasn’t an issue. We loved our stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer.
