We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and perfectly balanced, spacious yet cosy, so we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our child loved the toys provided, and our dog enjoyed the big garden. We especially appreciated the beautiful palm trees in the garden, creating the perfect spot to sit out and relax. The location was ideal, just a 10 minute walk to the beach, fish market, and great restaurants. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely stay again

This is a beautiful house in a quiet road. It as everything you could need and is well positioned for the British normandy memorial, and the D-Day beaches

Everything you need is present in the big house. Romain is very friendly and responds immediately to all your questions. We had no hot water at one point and Romain came by immediately. Super host and stay, with a perfect price/quality ratio. RECOMMENDED!

We had a great stay at this property. It is central to all of the beaches for the Normandy landings. The property was nice and clean felt spacious private area nice and quiet.Port Bessin is only a 10 minute drive with lots of restaurants and is a lovely place to walk around.

Quirky house with everything you need. Second toilet particularly helpful with 4 guests. Communication excellent. Really close to the shops and restaurants. Bells mentioned in listing were absolutely no problem and we got parking outside the accommodation. One note: the upstairs bedrooms do not have a door to separate them from one another. That wasn’t clear from pictures and our adult children coped after the initial surprise. 😊 Would recommend this place.

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

This was my third time at Emmanuel and Beatrice’s place. They have always been very kind to deal with and they strive to make my experience there better! They always respond to questions or concerns immediately and they were very understanding when a family health situation came up! I look forward to many more trips to their place with D-Day Patrons. It's not easy to find a place to stay for a family or friends get together. Everything is there here. Number of bedrooms and beds, recreational equipment for children and adults, dishes, seats, all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

an absolute favorite! I often travel with my dog, I have stayed in Airbnbs but this one is at the top of the list. Not only for the setting, the location, the calm, the accommodation, which is already remarkable. But beyond that, everything has been thought out in detail, the host is welcoming and responsive. Available, the essentials, coffee, salt, pepper, shower gel. We even have essential oils for the sauna if you want. Sauna and Nordic bath nicely prepared by the host in addition before our return to the accommodation. The garden is enclosed, for animals it is ideal. I've never seen an Airbnb as good as this one, thank you for the comfort and good times.

We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

A practical, well-equipped accommodation with sober decoration, ideally located on the port of Grandcamp, in a perfectly secure residence. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and the beach...

An excellent stay in an exceptional setting. Located near the Houlgate Golf Course, this peaceful haven offers many on-site activities (darts, foosball, table tennis, volleyball, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, pinball, pool, karaoke). The perfect place for an EVG or a multi-activity stay with friends. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the accommodation is very well equipped and close to Houlgate for walks on the beach!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of Karine's service: very welcoming host, nice and spacious mobile home, very well equipped +++, everything is there and everything is thought of, including a baby night light, coffee capsules, tea, paper consumables, hygiene products... nothing to say and above all very clean. This mobile home is a real haven of peace and we had a pleasant stay outside of school holidays, very relaxing with my baby and my elderly mother. Classy, clean and quiet campsite. The place was FANTASTIC!! Only suggestion to host would be a second set of towels, and extra paper products. ie paper towels/toilet paper.

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

The home was very quiet and in a convenient location in Grandcamp-Maisy. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space to spread out. Christophe was a great host, quick to answer questions and helpful in providing information about the local area.

We were guests in the Le Coquillage Bungalow, thanks to Mylene for the nice accommodation, comfortable and well furnished, very close to the sea and restaurants. Great location for visiting the region. Recommended

Ideally located accommodation, studio among others in a historic house, so there is a little traffic in the common areas that can be heard.
