We had a great stay at this property. It is central to all of the beaches for the Normandy landings. The property was nice and clean felt spacious private area nice and quiet.Port Bessin is only a 10 minute drive with lots of restaurants and is a lovely place to walk around.

Philippe is a great host, who is very responsive and very flexible. The apartment is great, right on the seafront and very easy to access with all necessary things provided!

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful little village with all amenities within walking distance. Impeccable and well arranged accommodation, tastefully decorated. Pets allowed: a plus for my cat. Only small downside in tourist season, small difficulties to find a parking space nearby but there is what you need 800 meters away and you can park in the street to load and unload.

The sea cottage is very cozy, very pleasant and well-equipped The garden and terrace are really a plus. we had a lovely weekend with the girls

What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located close to the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, a very pleasant scent immediately entered our noses and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was available under the stairs in the entrance area, which we greatly appreciated, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was immaculately clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. We look forward to our next stay there. Thank you❤, Anne!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is cute and charming, but the best part is the location on the beach. So easy to walk right out and see the gorgeous ocean!

We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. A practical, well-equipped accommodation with sober decoration, ideally located on the port of Grandcamp, in a perfectly secure residence. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and the beach...

An apartment that allows complete disconnection. We felt so rested... Getting up with the sea view is just amazing. We don't get tired of it and we have chosen the apartment as our second home in Cabourg! We can't wait to come back! Thanks to Karine for her flexibility, and hospitality.

Pleasant quiet stay. Impeccable and spacious accommodation. The hosts are very available and attentive. The pool area is incredible, sheltered from the wind despite average temperatures. A kind of microclimate operates in this place. i recommend it.

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this lovely accommodation. Hosts very welcoming. Ideal location for visiting D Day beaches. Lovely breakfast each morning with homemade delicious cake. In the Normandy countryside, in close proximity to the sea and in the heart of the landing beaches, this fully renovated and impeccably clean accommodation deserves these 5 stars! The hosts are very attentive, special mention for the bottle of cider. We had a memorable stay there as a family, in memory of those who fell on this land.

The perfect place to stay to experience the history of the area during D Day celebrations. Easy to access all that the town has to offer and imagine what it would have been like to live there. Right in the middle of everything, yet quiet at nighttime. Perfect space for a family of four. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

Location was excellent, both in the town... Steps from the water) and Arromanches (ah row monsh) itself. Apartment was wonderful. Bed was firm but comfortable. Comforter was too warm for the great weather we had... We exchanged it with the second bedroom and it was perfect. Very clean place. Shower was perhaps the best I've had in Europe, but be mindful... Hot water doesn't last forever. Limited amt of consumables. No kleenex, no body soap or shampoo, one roll of tp. Did come with a few coffee pods and sugar, but no creamer. Washer was a bit challenging to figure out but worked well when I did. Found no instructions in English lonline or in unit so trial and error. Great base for exploring Normandie. Parked in large pay lot just up the main road... Free from 7p to 9a, so for us just a few euros per day. Free parking was scarce. Best to explore town early or late. Loved it but wish we'd had time to visit bayeux also. Three days is not enough to really see the area.

We had a great week at this place. The whole thing matched the photos, whether it was the interior or the relaxing sea view. The bedding is quality and the accommodation is worth the asking price. The host was discreet throughout the stay (unless we needed her by message), we just met her for the key exchange before we left. She is kind and smiling. We highly recommend this accommodation or we'll come back if we have the opportunity to spend time in Normandy.
